  1. Every time I see Frame Fighter stuff, like one of those scannable things in missions, I'm reminded of this song and logo. Needs a name correction, Warframe helmets, and the lyrics going "Frame Fighter, Frame Frame Fighter~", etc. Ah, nostalgia.

  2. -Nuclear frame, radiation damage. Ultimate is Meltdown or Nuke. Name? Er.. Nucleos? Duke Nukem? Cherno? Boomdude? Rutherford (his research led to the first atom split)?

-Corrosive frame, possibly some sort of acid spitting and a bit alienesque. Name? Uh..Rust? Decay? Blight?

-Gas frame. Smoke? Vapor? Effluvium? Fume? Exhaust?

-Viral frame (not Infested frame. More..bio-weapon scientist?) Bacilus? Pathogen? Bacterium?

    -Time frame. Chronos. Easy.

    -Wire frame. Er..mocap? Dummy?

-Spine frame (Porcupine). Quill? Thorn? Barb? Vibrissa? Bristle? Sanik? Spike? Porky?

-Long range Artillery frame (could tie in with Explosion frame). Ordnance? Artie? Rainmaker?

-Beast frame. Mode shift between bipedal and quadrupedal. Varmint? Brute? Behemoth? Beast?

-Portal frame. Glados? Janus? Ingress? Conduit?

-Money frame (possibly Corpus). Lucre. Just love that name.

-Platinum frame. Just..platinum. Maybe a special type of an existing frame, akin to "Vandal", "Wraith", and "Prisma". Or just a deluxe skin, I guess.

-Prism frame (light bending). Spectrum? Prisma? Rainbow Dash?

-Split frame. Splits into 2-3-4 different parts, switch control between parts manually, non-controlled are spectres. Rupture? Fissure? Chasm?

-Painter frame (picture frame?). Artisan? Dauber? Picasso? Van Gogh? Brushlord?

-Hunger frame. Eats enemies. (far more ravenous than Inaros). Pishacha (Picasa)? Ravager? Gluttony?

-BDSM frame, The more damage it suffers, the stronger it gets. Grudge? Spite? Umbrage? Rancor? Bane?

  3. No art since I'm not an artist. Sadly.

But yes, Venture, The Gambler. A warframe of chance. High risk, high reward. All players in the squad need to be ready to deal with the random outcome of his abilities, though his abilities cannot outright cause bleedout or kill players, companions, sentinels, and have no effect on allied NPC's, objectives such as cryopods, mobile defense control panels, and rescue targets.

-Passive: Lucrative Looter. [Venture gains 5% more credits from box/enemy drops.]

-Ability 1: Lucky Dice. [Venture throws forth 1/2/3 dice, bouncing off enemies and surfaces, dealing damage for each. Has a chance to inflict critical hits, or deal minor damage instead.]

-Ability 2: Slot Machine. [Venture opens his chest revealing a three-barred slot machine. Activate ability again to stop the slots. The bar symbols determine the effect. This mostly functions as a self-buff, or single target debuff/damage/status. Chance of inflicting negative status/damage/debuff on self.]

-Ability 3: Ace of Spades [Venture conjures a series of cards rotating around him, granting partial projectile deflection for a short period of time. Cards can be destroyed by enemy damage. Activate ability again to direct the remaining cards at the targeter, dealing damage and slash proc.]

-Ability 4: Spin To Win [Venture fills an area (around Nidus ability 4 size) with a roulette game. Activate ability again to spin. The icon the ball lands on determines the effect. This effect is always AoE, and can be beneficial to players, harmful to players, or harmful to enemies. Includes status, damage, buffs, debuffs, armor/shield/health/energy/ammo restore and drain.]

    Augment mods:

-Gambling Insurance. Spin To Win Augment. Lessens the negative effects on self and squad.

-Ace of Steel. Ace of Spades Augment. Removes deflection effect, but cards cannot be destroyed by enemy damage.

-Lucky Seven. Lucky Dice Augment. Venture throws 7 smaller dice instead, but ability loses the critical hit chance.

    Signature weapon: Fortuna

Secondary, Kunai-style weapon. A deck of cards that inflict mainly slash damage. 52 in the "magazine", 300 max.

  4. Disassembling. While I'm probably not the first to have this idea, I figured I'd suggest it anyway, as I personally would love to see this feature in Warframe. What do I mean by disassembling? Well, you know how when you're done with a weapon, warframe, sentinel, archwing, etc... you have the option to sell it for credits, or...well..nothing else, really. And while credits are nice when you're starting out or when you're in the middle of the game... for a veteran like me, who already has millions of credits, and nearly all mastery things maxed, credits aren't really something I need.

What I do need, and will always need, are components. I'm mostly good on components, due to the farming I have done in my time during playing Warframe, though DE often adds new resources that we use in our blueprints. I'm talking things like Tellurium, Cryotic, Oxium, Nitain Extract, Synthula, Kuva, and other such things. I have no issue with new resources, although often I wish I could either purchase some of them, trade them, or disassemble my current owned arsenal so I can more easily access some of the resources I need right now.

Say, for example, I'm short on cryotic. I need to farm at least 40 excavators to build a blueprint. I cannot purchase cryotic (and the plat vs amount of resources in the market are usually fairly not-worth in my opinion), I cannot trade for cryotic, so I'm stuck with doing this long long grind. Especially when I do not wish to spend more plat. This goes for any component, not just cryotic. So I thought... what if I could disassemble a weapon I no longer need or use, and get cryotic from that? Say, from the Glaxion. Or from a Frost warframe? Of course, the item you disassemble determines the components you'd get, the amount, and probably a little less than you use to craft this item (as I'm assuming some of the components are lost in the crafting. Think of the amount of wood lost when making a wooden table, for example.)

Disassembling would work on pretty much anything you can sell for credits. Even if you originally purchased it with plat, or gained through an event or as a gift. Perhaps a little component boost if your items are max rank or have catalysts/reactors/formas installed. Not sure if you'd get the actual catalyst/reactor/forma back, or just more components.

I, for one, would welcome an additional way to gain components, which reduces the grind, but also has its cost (you give up a weapon, frame, sentinel, or other things), and a way that gives players more than mere credits for selling their stuff.

An extension could include disassembling mods for, say, endo. Unsure if that's already an option or not. But that's a discussion for when, and if, this disassembling system would make its way into Warframe.

  5. So...being the only active member and leader of my ghost clan, a friends-only group like a lot of players have... I am supposed to rescue 1300 evacuees in a single mission to get the lowest tier reward? And if my clan was of a higher rank, I'd need to get even more?

I understand giving clans something to work for. The Syndicate hunt thing they showcased on Devstream looks fun, and not undoable when soloing. Just a bit more investment required. That's fine.

But this event... I mean, it did only take me 3 runs (1 solo, 2 random squad) to get to 70, so that's cool...but the end score is 2000. 4 runs = 100. 20x100 = 2000. It will take 80 runs in total to get there, assuming all take 4 runs to gain approx 100 points. That's quite a lot more than previous events. And for what? A fashion frame armor recolor? I mean, cool, I like it, but... I'd sooner do that effort for a new event weapon, like the Ignis Wraith, even if only for Mastery fodder. Now, you're telling me I can't get it unless I rescue 1300 guys in a single mission, within 1 week? I have less of a life than most, and even I am unable to spend the many many hours playing a tedious mission over and over... on top of that, I have plans this weekend and am unable to play. Even if I had time, I can't rescue 1300 guys alone. That's too much grind.

So what am I supposed to do? Close my own personal clan, that I worked *really* hard on, to get all the research, build all the parts of my Dojo, farmed color pigment, farmed resources both common and rare, and to give my close friends a place to call home if they choose to play Warframe...  ? Really? I'm supposed to close it and join a bigger clan? 1) I don't even know what clans are out there. 2) I don't want to join a bigger clan just for a weapon. 3) I don't know anyone in those clans. I'm not interested to, either. I don't mind playing with randoms, or trading in their dojo, sure, fine with me, but I don't want to join their clan.

I'd ask my members to be more active, but only two could be, and they are unable to play due to life reasons. I like Warframe, but I'm not addicted to it. A lot of us play casually, and have no desire for a large clan-only thing.

I spent a long time farming and doing *mostly* everything (except Raids and PvP), spent a good amount of money on plat and some harder-to-get purchases and cosmetics, even a Prime Access pack or two. And now you're telling me I can't get the Ignis Wraith unless I do *several* things I don't want to do, and never *had* to do before. Such as leaving my clan, joining a bigger one, and farm my &#! off with strangers, within the course of a week.

DE, no offense, but this is not the right approach to "making clans great again". You're putting *huge* demands on clans and players of *any* tier, and this goes beyong the grind of farming. As mentioned before, you wanted to reduce the grind, and now you are increasing it by at least 200% with this event, along with restricting an event weapon to an "active clans only" setting. You were even talking about making things like the Lato Vandal and Braton Vandal available again, since you don't like the exclusivety (aside from Excalibur Prime, Lato Prime, Skana Prime).

I don't mind active clans having an easier time to obtain rewards, but you're basically locking out *everyone* who doesn't have a huge clan with loads of active members, and who don't have the time required to farm these high amounts of points within a week. It's not just "make sure you're in a clan before the event starts". It's "make sure you're in a super *active* clan before the event starts". If, for example, it was like the Hema... yes, I'm not a fan of that decision either, but at least we can take as long as we like on completing the Hema research requirement. So for us many many casuals, we will get it..eventually. Especially since you raised the drops/amounts of Mutagen Samples in the Derelict. I'll happily take my Nekros Prime there and get all the samples ever.

Please offer the Ignis Wraith Blueprint as a reward for something else later on, like a Sortie or a Syndicate hunt (on the condition that even solo clans like mine *can* still complete it before it times out again). If this remains locked behind active clans only, I, and many others, will be sorely disappointed..and please don't point the finger at us saying "Well, you should've been in an active clan, lol"...it's not our fault. You yourselves know that *many* players are *not* in very active clans, or even very active themselves.

I agree that we'll probably see offers in the Trading channel of big clans charging rediculous amounts of plat for the *right* to grab an Ignis Wraith research from their Dojo Labs.

I *really* hope that you, at DE, are not going to continue running Warframe in this manner. This is not the right way to gain more active players. The grind is too high, the exclusivety too player unfriendly, the time (1 week) too short for most people's busy lives (including jobs, families and other obligations we simply can't and shouldn't neglect), and more of this content is only going to make things worse, not better. I don't know why you're enforcing this approach. Maybe your playerbase is dwindling, but surely there are other methods to encourage people to play. I did my fair share of the work for the last 3 years, I paid my share of plat... isn't that enough? Why am I being punished for not playing Warframe the way *you* want me to play it, by upping the grind and exclusivety? Especially after allowing me to play the way I want for this long. -shakes head- I have no qualms with changing the way I play, but I'd prefer it being gently nudged into a different direction, instead of a sudden harsh "oh you can't get Ignis Wraith cuz you aren't in an active clan". Gee, thanks for the heads up, DE...

Clans should be an option, not a requirement for exclusive content, especially for event weapons (which were *never* exclusive to clans, just to events). What's next? Bardframe being obtainable only through a big active clan quest, and not available through trading, small clan Dojo *or* in the Marketplace? I sincerely hope not. Paywalls are one thing. Clanwalls are a whole different obstacle, one many of us cannot overcome that easily.

Honestly, I might take a break if this clan-only thing becomes the main focus. Though for now, I will wait and see. Not even going to bother with the event, since I'll never get 1300 guys in one mission, so what's the point in even trying?

  6. So..I found out the whole chair, stab, cyst, Helminth Charger thing. Okay, that's cool.

I have drained Nidus' cyst and am currently incubating my first Helminth Charger. Sadly, through contact with other cyst-infected players during missions, both my Valkyr Prime and Vauban Prime are developing a cyst. I would like to remove the cysts without requiring to incubate more Helminth Chargers and then consigning them to the Lotus. I've noticed the cyst regrows on Nidus, despite not having played him since I drained the cyst. I can kind of understand why, since he's the one that got stabbed in the first place. I am unaware if the cyst will regrow on my other infected frames, even if I don't play them after draining it. I hope they don't. I'd rather not have my frames walk around with a pink bulge with a lil' tentacle sprouting out on their neck pretty much forever.

I hope DE has some plans for this mass infection of other players/frames. But as it stands, I would like to request two things:

    1) Cysts does not regrow on their own on any frame except Nidus.

    2) Cysts can be drained/cured without requiring incubation.

and a third, slightly different request: If you, DE, have no plans for the mass infection of other players/frames with cysts, please remove the mass infection/contagion aspect. If players want a Helminth Charger, they can use Nidus. Especially since Nidus is currently the only frame Helminth will work with, and is the only frame to get stabbed in the neck. I don't really like the idea of having the infection/cyst forced upon my frames simply because I do missions (aka play the game) with other players. That said, I'd feel a bit better knowing there's more (and bigger) things coming related to this relatively soon.

  7. I certainly hope this won't be the new standard for Clan Research. I researched pretty much everything in my own Ghost clan by myself, as the only two other members (my boyfriend and a good friend) rarely play. I like that I can put in resources to craft new stuff rather than buying them with plat.

But 5000 mutagen samples, a rather uncommon resource as it is....? So basically you're saying "get a load of active players to join your clan and farm together for the damn thing, or buy it with plat". While I understand the weapon is powerful, and Clans are ultimately about working together, a lot of players don't have a huge clan, nor clans with loads of active players. Many of them are like me, they have their own little Clan specifically for their few friends, or just for themselves, to research otherwise unobtainable weapons and gear. The thing you wish to steer Clans towards (I won't use the word "force" just yet) is not really fair towards a large part of the playerbase. Research cost should reflect not only the Clan type, but also the amount of active players. If there's only one person active, resource costs should be lowered. I find that *most* of the Ghost Clan costs so far have been fair...with the exception of the Knux, Caustacist, and now the Hema. And while not a Dojo research, the Sibear had crazy cryotic costs, too.

Please allow players with smaller clans to research these items as well, without requiring extremely high costs, as this is basically punishing players without huge active clans, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

  8. Sorry if this is offensive, but...

To all players who are upset that Banshee isn't next up for Priming...

I just find it kind of amusing. Nekros wasn't next after Vauban, either. You know whose turn it was? Oberon. Also a frame that needs some love, just like Banshee. I figured we wouldn't get Nekros Prime or Valkyr Prime until 2017.

While it may be possible this is indeed a marketing strategy to gain more money for the holidays, as basically every company does so I don't see why that'd be surprising... but what if DE put Banshee and Oberon on the "Backburner Prime", because they need more time to give them some much needed love? It likely isn't as simple as the smaller tweaks to Vauban or Nekros, and Valkyr got her tweaks a good long while ago.

Just a thought. Banshee and Oberon will come. Sooner or later.

I mean..are we gonna have this discussion again when the Primecycle reaches Atlas/Wukong/Nezha/Inaros? I hope not.

  9. Ordis Ship Purge. Watch unskippable cutscene.

Unable to reach the front navigation console. Sentinel (Helios) kills Operator. Operator dies. Respawns back near the chair. Timer runs out. Mission failed. Repeat ad nauseum.

Oh, and unable to access the rest of the game while I'm stuck in this infinite death loop.

I'm calling it a bug, since I don't think "just tough it out 'till you get lucky one day" is a good gameplay mechanic, and I doubt that was the intention. Tried restarting, verifying files, no effect.

  10. I'm sorry, but this announcement should have been made months ago.

A lot of people do not own a credit card, myself included. There is a lot of confusion as to what exactly a pre-paid credit card is, as a lot of it overlaps with debit cards, which are supposedly not accepted.

DE also gives zero explanation as to *why* they enforce this rule. In my experience, on-site merch is generally cash only, or cash is at least accepted. Mind you, this is merch from concerts and such, but I suspect it is no different at cons.

Picture this. I'm from Europe. I'd have to buy a relative cheap TennoCon ticket. Plus around 900-1200 euros for a plane ticket, since DE chose July, which is the height of tourist season, flight prices skyrocket. Add hotel costs for at least one night. Transportation to and from the hotel. Food. Cash.

And then only two weeks in advance, I'm told all merch is credit card only, so too bad. Hastily find one of the limited options we list/accept, or you can't buy any merch.

So, I'd already be paying through the nose to even be able to attend, and I'm forced to pay even more to have access to merch (which I might not even buy if it's nothing I really care for. I won't know till I see it).

I'd have loved to attend, but all these things just make unnecessarily expense, confusing, and honestly, it kills the mood.

My advice for a future TennoCon:

    1. Pick a non-tourism date, which is around January till April/May, and around September till November. June, July, August and December are price skyrocket months.

    2. Allow cash for merch, just like any other event would.

    3. Make announcements months in advance, rather than mere few weeks before the event.

    4. Add list of food available on-site, food allergy information, and other information (such as vegan, vegetarian, halal, etc).

  11. What I've noticed about Rathuum, especially Round 3, is that the most successful frame by far is Ash Prime. Bladestorm OP. Those frames usually end up with nearly all kills themselves, and zero deaths.

Deth Carabus' are too strong, they're nearly the only thing I usually die to, esp if a squad of 3 groups together. Also, *please* tone down the sound of their attack. It's *much* louder than any other sound in the game, almost distorted sounding, and it isn't pleasant.

Also, will Kela permanently drop the Twin Kohmak BP after this new version replaces the old Kela boss node, or is that an event-only drop?

  12. Max out the frames, weapons, companions, etc you have (max rank: 30) for the mastery points.

For me, I've never sold a frame myself, not even once I got its Prime variant. Same goes for Sentinels (companion). Weapons..I tend to sell them after maxing once I get a better variant of it (Prime, Syndicate, Vandal, Wraith, Mara, Prisma, etc). Though keep in mind that you may need to keep certain weapons to build new ones. For example a Kraken goes into making a Kulstar. An Atomos and a Dual Zoren (I think?) goes into making Twin Basolk, and so forth. Also, perhaps don't sell rare weapons you can't (easily) obtain again, such as the recent Machete event's Machete (I know, many do not like it). I can't bring myself to sell something like that.

In the end, it's up to you. But I'd recommend buying slots.

  13. I like the Syndicate spectres. Useful to have a bit more assistance during a mission. However, I find there's a distinct difference in power between the ones available to a player.

-Red Veil (Charger). This one is incredibly weak and generally dies very quickly.

-Steel Meridian (Roller). Similar to the Charger, this one is weak and dies easily.

-New Loka (Ancient Healer). A big toughie with a damage reduction aura. Very useful and I love using this one.

-Perrin Sequence (MOA). Decent. Not too strong, not super weak. Though I wouldn't mind seeing this one upgraded to, say, a Fusion MOA.

-Arbiters of Hexis (Corrupted Lancer). Surprisingly powerful. I love this one as well.

-Cephalon Suda (Osprey). Shield regenerator and offensive capabilities. Another favourite of mine.

My suggestion is to buff up the choice for Red Veil and Steel Meridian. Perhaps a stronger Infested unit for Red Veil, like a Boiler/Arcane Boiler, or Tar Mutalist MOA.  For Steel Meridian, perhaps a Napalm or Bombard. I know they aren't machines, but why couldn't you deploy a cloned Grineer?

Also, and this a side note, I've noticed that once you summon a spectre, they spawn as level 1, and take a few seconds before they become the appropriate level. During these few seconds, they can be killed by Warframe abilities, like Ember's World on Fire and Vauban's Tesla. I would like to see the spectre summoning to become more smooth, so you don't end up killing your freshly spawned spectre by accident.

  14. I really hope this wasn't a mere april fool's thing. I'd *love* a collection of Lotus voices to choose from, esp Vay Hek and Dismalotus.

Shut up and take my plat~ Gimme voicepacks!

Also..what about a smooth soulful black guy Lotus? Soulotus?

    Mobile Defense:

-"Awrite, find me a console sugar~"

-"Put it in and let me work mah magic~"

    -"Just a little more baby~"

-"Was it as good for you as it was for me?"

-"Man, I am spent. Get yo sweet ayse to extraction~ <3"

  15. I was just thinking of posting a question on what DE is planning to do with Vauban. His "Bounce" is obsolete now that movement allows high jumps.

I like the idea of continuous arcing Teslas, as long as we keep the Tesla Link augment (having fun with that).

The EMP... I like the concept, though I'm unsure how much it would be used aside from being a mobile shield emitter. Perhaps add additional functionality, such as shield and machinery disruption (confusion?), making mounted guns unresponsive, (temporary) disable arc traps, and similar tech-influencing mechanics.

Bastille is by far my favourite ability, and I'm glad to see your suggestion doesn't change the core of it.

And Vortex seems to be similar to the original, though stronger over time. It could use a damage buff, so this is good.

  16. Yeh, I was having issues Sunday the 20th and today, Monday the 21st. Either I couldn't login to Warframe at all, or I could play a mission and get the same "unable to update account" message many other users are getting, which basically prevents you from getting any EXP/resources/anything from a mission. In other words, it's kinda pointless to play at the moment. Also, I was unable to access Warframe.com this morning.

I think I'll do what I usually do in these cases, and that's wait out the server issues while playing a different game.

  17. So... this happened after Host Migration on an Archwing Submersible tile on Uranus, just as I tried to get out of the water.

    photo_2016-03-15_21-49-16.jpg

    photo_2016-03-15_21-49-20.jpg

My Limbo was now wielding the Dual Decurion and Prisma Veritux, and could "walk" anywhere (as if controlling an archwing), yet he could sprint and use his own powers and health/shields. Upon mission completion, he reverted back to his normal state.

    ...

I kinda want a Dual Decurion and sweepy-animated Prisma Veritux for non-Archwing now. >u>
