As a last resort, possibly try resetting your controls to default and then see if it works then.

I enjoy using alternate skins and helmets for Warframes and weapons and whatnot, however when I use them on my prime stuff, the lack of shiny metal bits is a tad disappointing. I suggest having slight alterations on helmets and skins when they are added to Prime stuff so they have the same satisfying metal sheen on them but keep the aesthetic of the actual item.
For example having the dangly bits on Loki's Swindle Helm have a metallic tint to them on Loki Prime instead of the normal colour, because it completely changes the outcome of the aesthetic.

According to http://www.tennoclocknews.com/in-development/#2-1 the only Augments currently in the works are Chroma's Effigy, Excalibur's Exalted Blade, Saryn's Miasma, Vauban's Minelayer, Volt's Electric Shield and Zephyr's Tailwind.

Did you have the sound effect occur on kill?
Maybe try dequipping the vessel and re-equipping it, or stopping the quest and then starting it again.

Any Dark Sector missions are good for credits usually, particularly excavations. If you want a specific place, then maybe try Tikal on Earth. It's a Dark Sector excavation, you only have to do one of the excavators and then you can leave, so it's pretty quick. It gives about 12k credits for completion, plus however much you collect. It's a good low level farm until you unlock Hieracon and such.

In my opinion you should definitely start again.
So much has happened and been added in that space of time, it'll be a complete game changer.
As for the clan thing, maybe check in recruiting?

It says on the page Clan Settings page of the website " If we approve your image, you will see your Clan Emblem implemented in the nearest hotfix or update "
So maybe a couple of weeks at most.

I was just levelling some MR fodder at E Prime on Earth when I noticed this strange room.
As you can see, this was an exterminate mission. There was no way to activate whatever the waypoint on the map is and this is the only time I've ever seen this happen.
I'm going to run a few more missions to see if it shows up again.
Any ideas on what it is?

Clan Rank and Ascension Ceremony Confusion

If I complete the Ascension Ceremony does it change my clan from Ghost Clan into Shadow Clan or what? What does the ceremony actually do, because I've got enough to rank it up but I don't want to make my clan larger.
