  1. Super Charge

Excalibur was the first. Drawing upon energies of the void, he turned himself into a living weapon against his enemies.

Super Charge grants a stamina regeneration and movespeed increase (1 to 1.1) for a (moddable) duration, as well as double ticks on the combo counter for every hit. Super Charge also empowers Excalibur's next ability with an extra effect. Super Charge benefits from Power Duration, Power Efficiency. Costs 20 energy base. Ranking up Super Charge increases stamina regen, and duration, and duration the charge to buff Excalibur's next ability lasts.

Super Charge: Slash Dash: Slash Dash now applies a guaranteed Slash and Impact proc.

Super Charge: Radial Blind: Loses LoS requirement and now goes through walls.

Super Charge: Super Charge: Grants damage and knockdown resistance, and faster melee attack speed for a short duration.

Super Charge: Applies combo counter bonus to Radial Javelin.

Augment Mod Bonus: Radial Charge: Applies bonuses of base Super Charge (minus the next ability buff of course) to all nearby teammates.

EDIT: Let me give an example on how Super Charge would work, buffing itself. Here's Excalibur. He uses Super Charge. He gains increased movespeed, stamina regen, and a bonus to the melee combo counter. His next ability is buffed.

    He uses Super Charge again.

Now he has damage/knockdown resistance, and faster attack speed. His original Super Charge's bonuses are refreshed.

He uses Super Charge a third time. He does not regain damage resistance and faster attack speed, but MS, regen, and combo counter bonus durations are refreshed, and his next ability will be buffed.

You're not stacking the same bonuses on top of each other. The same bonuses are being refreshed, the different bonuses are being added.

  2. Make it akin to the signature ability of Dragoons/Dragon Knights from the Final Fantasy game series, Jump. Let it empower Excalibur's melee attacks for one attack, or for a few seconds. For those of you who ever watched Final Fantasy Advent Children, imagine the part where Yuffie's about to get her &#! blown up by Bahamut, and Cid sails in out of nowhere and jams his spear into Bahamut's nose and saves her.

Excalibur is a Knight, he's named after the legendary sword of King Arthur, his whole theme is Avalon, Pendragon, Chief of Dragoons. Augment mods are a bandaid and Furious Javelin is terrible (2 percent per enemy hit at max rank). Surging Dash was so universally panned that you gave his base Slash Dash the ability to add to the combo counter (which I think needs its duration extended slightly).

Give Excalibur some actual melee bonuses from his abilities. Let him be the sword that cleaves evil.

  3. Pretty much the title.

Nobody likes having a combo counter going, only for it to reset in the few moments it takes to get to your next target(s). As we're actively blocking shots transitioning from one target to the next, the combo counter duration should be extended (not added to though) as we're still in combat. I think this will greatly improve the flow of melee.

  4.

Sure. I may not use it but more cosmetics are always fun. Perhaps alternately  these could be Dojo decorations and you can donate a weapon you own to b displayed. It would be returned upon decoration destruction.

I was considering that too, but donating to a Clan would be a bit more difficult and complicated with permissions and all.

Imagine heading to your Clan's Dojo though. You walk down a hallway with a bunch of "retired" weapons mounted along the length of the room, with the former owner's name, and number of kills acheived with the weapon displayed under it in a holographic display. That'd be cool.

  5. Weapon Mounts.

I know our Lisets are pretty cramped, but DE should consider decorations in the form of weapon mounts. Some of us put a great deal of effort into making ourselves, and our weapons, look good, so the ability to mount up a particularly favored weapon in the Liset when we're not using it would add a nice touch.

For example, although I have my Soma Prime, I'm extremely reluctant to toss away my original Soma and make space. I love that gun, its popped many a head, and kicked many an ! with a potato and four forma in it. I'd love it if I could just mount it up on a wall in my Liset somewhere.

EDIT: Imaru12 below brought up the idea of it also being applicable to Clan Dojos.

Imagine heading to your Clan's Dojo. You walk down a hallway with a bunch of "retired" weapons mounted along the length of the room, with the former owner's name, and number of kills acheived with the weapon displayed under it in a holographic display.

Don't lie, you'd pay for that.

  6. No, this is a troll thread. You may have had some points, but you long since forfeited the high ground.

You want to talk logical, lets talk logical.

What is not logical about a swordmaster being able to detect enemies surrounding him, summoning intangible energy swords near said enemies, and jamming the swords into them?

  7.

then a impact gets proc'd and the heavy gunner doubles over and u miss 10+ bullets

Impact is the smallest amount of physical damage on the weapon. So inbetween Slash/Puncture and any elemental mods you have on the gun you'll practically never proc Impact even once in a full magazine. Your point is invalid as hell.

The Soma has always had an ammo problem. You now have the ability to be more ammo efficient, through negating wind-up (and allowing the option to take away Shred and use a Metal Auger instead for punch through), a 20 percent damage increase, a massive increase in spare ammunition.

To those of you who don't think its enough of an improvement, I'm sorry you feel that way. I think its a good improvement, and its not supposed to be an overpowered one.

  8.

You mean like how Mesa's First Ability Ballistic Battery is like only that it takes whatever damage Slash Dash has done to that enemy and gives it to Excalibur's first Melee attack?

I think the difference would be that Mesa's 1 gathers power based on damage Mesa has done until its unleashed, and Excalibur's SD adds damage to his melee based on the power of the SD, not any damage done by it to a target/targets along the way.

  9. I like these changes, and if newer Warframes are gonna get passives, like Mesa, I expect the older Warframes to get them too, and for Excalibur's passives to match his theme as a sword-based frame. I especially like the idea of the Slash Dash change, but I feel like it might be too much of an overlap or improved version compared to Ash's teleport to enemy and stun for finisher. How about if at the end of Slash Dash, a portion of the SD's damage was added to Excalibur for a single melee strike?

  10.

    give me an explanation why

Blinding light cannot go through walls-because of logic (players say that's why it should have been nerfed) yet swords can go through walls.

Sure, I'll give you a "logical" explanation.

    Its magic.

Excalibur, as a master swordsman, immediately detects the presence of all the enemies around him, summons ethereal Skana (made from void energy) around them, and causes the "Javelins" to fly into them.

  11. Excalibur Ability Change:

    Slash Dash

Now adds 15/20/25/30 percent of Slash Dash's damage to Excalibur's melee weapon as Slash damage for 5/10/15/20 seconds after use.

    Affected by:

Power Strength: Increases the percentage of Slash damage added to Excalibur's melee weapon after use.

Power Duration: Increases the duration of the bonus.

Without mods, this would add 150 Slash damage to Excalibur's melee for 20 seconds after using Slash Dash.

With Maximized Power Strength this would add 448 Slash damage to Excalibur's melee.

    ====================================================================================

    Excalibur Augment Mod:

    Critical Blind:

Using Radial Blind now adds 4-7-10 seconds of guaranteed critical chance on Excalibur's melee.

    Affected by:

Power Duration: Increases duration of the bonus.

    Any thoughts? Opinions?

  12. Can we have our Warframes looking forward again while standing still with the nikana with Blind Justice equipped? In between our warframe's tendency to have the neck crook out to the side for no reason at all, and my Warframe permanently looking down at his sword its getting incredibly awkward to use my new favorite stance, and I feel like I have to switch back to Tranquil Cleave to avoid being irritated.

I understand the concept of emulating a blind person, but the Tenno do have eyes, and even Zatochi never did that, just watch his poses in the movies. The blocking animation's even more egregious with this offense. Please change it back or change it altogether.
