  1. To me it would be a lot more useful if it would have less recoil. The nature of the single fire mode is relatively low damage, so trigger spamming is required. But perfect accuracy with max trigger spam is impossible due to the high level of recoil. As such is a weapon that has shining performance mostly for lower levels, unfortunately...

    Justice for what?

Indeed nothing at all. If everyone would get banned whenever a 13 year old would overreact, this game would be barren of players...

We have insane ways to regenerate loads of health on demand. Not just trinity, but operator arcanes can fully heal most warframes in a second and everyone has access to them (if they actually cared) while armor can reduce an absurd amount of damage at the same time.

where's my arcane that reduces damage taken by 2/3 for several seconds on being damaged while my shields are up? there isnt one. but there's guardian,

Yes, but we have limited mod slots, so unless you are going for face-tanking memes, you can only spare enough mods to boost one or the other, not both. And if health is an uncontested winner in 90% of the cases - we have a problem.

Remember like 3-4 years ago, when there was a No Shields Nightmare Alert most squads would get wiped except for maybe Loki/Ash and Rhino? That was the true worth of shields if we could not regen health at demand.

So basically because the power creep has evolved enormously over the years and now we have tons of ways to regen health, shields are becoming less and less relevant. Agreed, but then what? Boost the power creep up even more in the case of shields? This is a matter that needs careful approach, otherwise I prefer if the shields would remain just as a means of defending just in case you didn't come equipped with tons of ways to regen health.

  3. The purpose of the shields is not to eat a lot of damage and once. They are quite strong because they regenerate per default, and health won't regenerate without some sort of special mechanic. They may seem underwhelming at first, but if you do the math on how much damage a 740 shield can absorb and then regen over like 1h of survival, you will end up with a 5-digit number of total damage mitigated.

Except Nidus. Matter of fact, I would rate these two as equals, seeing as they could (theoretically) cancel each other out. Saryn could overwhelm Nidus' Infestation growths with sheer volume of poison, while Nidus(going by a thematic interpretation of his abilities) could simply develop an infested construct that siphons Saryn's venom from the air, all the while causing mass death and destruction around them in the process.

And Ash would not need to wait for either battle of attrition since his style is instant execution....get what I mean? These vs warframe imaginative games are pointless, since the winner will always be different depending on the situation.

I agree with your opinion and how great it would be if the majority of the Warframe players would think the same. But unfortunately they don't and that youtuber was absolutely right. Most players in WF won't get off their @sses to do anything if there is no rare loot to farm for (that they don't need most of the time anyway).

In the end, if the rewards stay the same most players will lose interest and this game mode will become some niche for players like me that just desire pure excitement.

plain an simply would cause many players just to farm an grind on missions they know the limits of how long they can stand in a mission an start going past it.
this would cause many players who will just go into a misison to find abit of rescoures an force the entire team to fail cause they cant wait to leave

Yeah, not caring about failure is the worst thing that could happen in Warframe.

  7. The failure rate in Warframe is abysmal low at only 2.5% for the last month. Clearly, this is a game well know for holding the hand of the players.

Now, they should also keep their rewards for a failed mission? Then why bother winning it when the last minute comes? The players might as well accept their fate peacefully, not like there is anything to lose *sarcasm*

Hi I don't usually complain about warframe but when I do it's sometimes a good reason and personally... this is a good reason.

Daily Weapons. Should. Not. Take. Up. Slots.

I've had to sell my daily weapons before realising I will never get them back and now I want them back to complete a collection but I can't get them back, so there should be a way to get your weapons daily weapons back because I know you can't craft them and it's annoys the crap out of me that I will eventually have to sell more weapons that I like to keep special ones like, Prime, Prisma, Vandals, Wraiths, Dex and the Daily ones like Zenistar, Azima, Sigma & Octantis and Zenith. I mean hell, make it so that we have to buy a display case that costs 20 plat so that we can keep weapons like those I don't care I will let go of 20 plat to have them for good.

Btw, the special weapons like login and event ones actually give you a free slot when they arrive. So it's even better than not taking up space at all. So, when it comes to selling them to free up that slot, the fact is that the slot you want to free would have never been there in the first place. Get it? Them not taking up any space would not be any advantage at all over what they do now.

  9. How should I say it, for the first time in like 2-3 years I felt like I was at home playing those. The slight shiver of a misstep and dying, always keeping an eye out for drones coupled with the boosted rewards from rotations gave a much more pleasant feeling than I expected. The utter lack of possibilities of failure made this game extremely dull.

Yes, I am one of those that kept asking for more difficult missions since we are now 3x more overpowered than a few years ago, but until Arbitrations nothing changed to make this game more difficult. Still, they need more work but I felt like I should give credit where it's due. I should hope we will get even more 'difficult' mission types in the future.

  10. Accuracy is the deviation of the bullet from the dot of the crosshair. That is measured by the stat in the arsenal (although that number may not always say much, unless is 100 or very low).

Recoil represents how much the weapon kicks up or sideways after each shot. It's different from accuracy, since accuracy represents bullets deviation without shaking movements from the gun. Needless to say, you need both of them to be low to have a truly accurate weapon. Also, recoil could be annoying visually since it will shake your screen all over the place.

Examples of weapons with 0 recoil: energy weapons, Kohm, Panthera, Tenora after full spool up.

Notice how even though Kohm has 0 recoil (no kick), it's still extremely inaccurate since it's a shotgun and shoots all over the place. However Dera is perfectly accurate (100) and no recoil, so it's one of the most perfect aiming weapons.

  11. This game being easy is an understatement. I remember that at first it was decently challenging though. Therefore if it was not challenging for you up to now, then it's not going to become any harder, since your gear should also evolve. The only way to make it hard is to spend hours in endless missions, but that's a pointless waste of time. We need dedicated difficult missions.

Very minor buffs in abilities could be ok. Like innate +2% duration and -2% range on a frame, the sentient adaptation wipe on umbra radial blind. Or something like that. Nothing more. And one more thing - Excal Umbra should be the only Umbra frame in my opinion.

There is no need for those minor increases, since they serve almost no practical purpose. But they will do a lot of harm since that will just be the start of everyone asking for more and more power creep, which just we don't need at all right now. First they have to introduce real challenge in the game, and then when our power will be insufficient (there is a long way to that), then we will be qualified to ask for more buffs.

It isn't harder. That is the crux of the issue. There are increasing numbers of methods for taking care of any level enemy, but is irrelevant given DE's stance. The game is being designed around 20 minute chunks, the AABC rotation being the past, present and future plan.

Everyone was competing for the most Prime parts out of a single key. Those same Survival maps exist, nothing really has changed except them not handing you Prime parts. If you dislike how pubs play, make your own squad. Even with more incentives, people will be inclined not to sit in the same mission for a ton of time.

Yeah, yeah, the same argument that I always hear "If you don't like pubs, make your own squad" and whatever. But why does nobody see that this is just avoiding the problem and not solving it? If the pubs are like this, then it's safe to say that most players are like this.

The paradise of the casuals? They can do their 20 mins rotations for all I care, but not all the players think like that. The game must move towards giving players incentive towards staying longer. Like this maybe more players will be inclined to try and actually get better at the game.

In other words, if you do 3, 20 minute Survivals, you'll have less than the person doing 1 for 60 minutes.

That is a punishment for not being able to commit to large blocks of time. This is not what DE is aiming for. To pretend it isn't punishing "casual" players is to not actually think about it.

When subsequent content resource requirements take into consideration the piles of resources "hardcore" players have, the casual players are screwed. If DE doesn't take them into consideration, the vets blow through the content without even trying.

However 1x 60 min survival is way harder due to the exponential scaling. So you are saying that although it's harder, you should get nothing extra because newbies need to be encouraged? It's totally the other way around.

Less experienced / geared players need to have an incentive to want to grow further, rather than feeling there is no point in gearing up further. When I first joined the game like 3.5 years ago, that was 100% the case. The longer you stayed, the more effective it was, so everyone was competing for longer survival times. Now, nobody cares. Also I am tired of pubs leaving after 15-20 mins because "no reason to stay more"....

  15. The fusion system was trivialized since the dawn of the Ayatan Sculptures, with maxed R10 mods costing like 1/3 of what they cost before, and you people still want more? Very easy stuff for everyone is not a goal a long-running game should strive towards.

  16. The opposite is also true, I found that with this UI there are many cases where less clicks are required, like when changing the Matchmaking mode or when using the relics (hover&click instead of click&click).

Therefore no, the previous UI was not particularly more user friendly or anything compared to this one. But I guess change is rather tedious for most people when they had the same thing for many years... I think this UI has quite the potential for speed and minimal looks. It just needs a few more improvements.

  17. As the others said, this is the only time where they gave us a whole frame + it's weapon without us having to farm the parts and / or build it (3 days wait).

I believe that in these cases we should not play the role of the sudden unsatisfied player and be thankful that they gave us this very important frame instantly, without any pay or grind walls.
