  1. I had this same issue just now. For me the weapon was Despair, and as soon as it hit zero I switched to Snipetron Vandal. I could see one knife just behind my head even when I switched to Snipetron. Switching weapons back didn't work, using powers didn't work, I think I had to do a jumping melee attack to fix it.

    I was fighting Stalker, and could have taken him out. Dethcube tried his hardest (bless his little... well, he doesn't wear socks so Bless his little jets?) but Stalker got away. Curses!

  2. Given we can only get Control Modules on one planet the assumption is the boss has a higher chance to drop it.

     

    That said, Hyena has horrible drop tables, in a half dozen runs, 3 of them were just Fieldron Modules and nothing else. Not even a single mod.

     

    2 of them were loki blueprints and the last one was... just a mod!

     

     

    Seriously, fix his loot drops this is insane.

    I have run Hyena a few times recently looking for Control Modules - the 3 runs I did yesterday:

    * Shotgun Ammo and Nano Spores

    * Fusion Core (Lvl 3) and Pistol Ammo

    * Shorgun Ammo and Fieldron Sample

    I did get a Control Module from an earlier run, when I killed a poor guy on the way to extraction. But nothing special from Hyena.

  3. I did log a call with TPG Support, so they might have kicked the wallabies they are using to power their machines :P

    Not that I am addicted to Warframe at all, it was... Ummm... Ok, I admit it! I'm addicted! Which way to Warframe Anonymous?

  4. Have the same issue here, but only via TPG. Is fine via Telstra... I have found another website that is doing a similar thing, so I have logged a call with TPG. Seems to be OK at the moment though.

    [EDIT] I found pinging from online tools failed as well, even though "Is it down for everyone or just me" said site was up. So they may block ping attempts. [/EDIT]

  5. I think part of the disappointment comes from the way alerts are perceived.

    Some people see alerts as a bonus to the core game, and aren't disappointed that they miss an alert.

    Some people see alerts as integral to progressing, so are more dissappointed when an alert is missed.

    Some people see alaerts as totally random, and just wait for a "better roll". RNG can be harsh at times, and great at others.

    Some people see it as just a game, and just take the missed alerts as something that happens.


    Personally, I see it as a bit of each of these. yes, I have had some luck and got some of the alerts, but I have also missed others due to work, sleep and other commitments. I have missed some do to not having access to a system, or just plain bad luck with the enemies I faced that I just couldn't crack through. I just take it all part of the experience.
     

    One thing to remember though is that DE are giving away "plat only" items for free. Platinum is how they make their money, so giving these away is a huge thing - imagine how many thousand (or million) potatoes and other "plat only" items they have given away.

    So what solutions do I see? Well, I don't know. Of the ideas in the OP the first 4 note that they only make it a bit better. Number 5 is pretty good, but negates the alerts really. Number 6 is pretty good, but instead of another resource why not give out plat?

    Maybe potatoes should be removed from the alerts completely, and have them only as a special occasion thing (like the 12hr alerts after livestreams). Just have the alerts handing out credits, artifacts, blueprints and possibly add in resources. I know it would be a less popular option, but it is a option.

    Just becasue Stalker is different from the rest of us is no reason to stick him in a locker and pummel him. What's next? Putting a "Bite Me" sign on his back and dropping him in the middle of a group of Infested?

    I'm going to be a bit of a black sheep here and say;

     

    after close to 200 hours of warframe, I've never noticed ancient healers healing very much at all.

    Like, I can see them heal... it's not like it's nothing.

    but it represents less than a single bullet from a snipetron.

    It's like the difference between killing something in a headshot and a chest shot, and needing 2 headshots.

     

    Even with a whole stack of them, a single ult would usually kill them all, or bring them down to low enough health so as to render them worthless.

     

     

    Maybe I'm blind but I have NEVER thought the ancient healer's heal was very large at all.

    I noticed this was the case early on, but I think they fixed or buffed it recently. They definitely heal stuff now (including themselves).

  8. The Ember BPs definitely drop at Ruk, I got the last piece from him this morning. It took a while, and the RNG Gods were teasing me by dropping nothing but helmets the first 6 BP Drops...

  9. I would prefer to see elevator music implemented first. Some smooth jazz to listen to as you while away the time waiting for the longer elevator rides.

    Also, I notice that the elevators don't have the little sign regarding maximum number of occupants or maximum weight allowed. Has OH&S been notified of this? It seems like a major oversight.

  10. When you go invisible the AI attacks the last place you were visible (at least in my experiences - which are all Solo), hence if you stay where you were you get hit. Every time Shade makes me invisible I get to a new position and watch the chaos - it can be fun with the infested watching the runners all run up to that point and blow up :) 

    Same with Grineer melee attackers, they stand there swinging at empty space while you creep away. There is something amusing watching three sawdudes throwing "punches" - it almost looks like they are sparring with each other.

  11. a "killing blow" would be a great way to make another reward drop possible but i think that tracking the hp continually across all instances would be difficult.  

    i agree on the boss disappearing after a set amount of time much like the stalker leaves after defeated would be a great way to manage how long a team can fight it but the boss shouldnt have a set amount of hp it could lose per run 

     

    i think it being on a timer for each run would be a better mechanic for these types of things that way no matter how much damage you can do to it it will still contribute

    Instead of a killing blow we just need to hold it at bay for X amount of time while a device is made to hold it at bay (or to seal the rift it is coming from, etc).

    Even though this is a set period, multiple groups can run the mission concurrently as an abstracted representation of a squad roster. Even though 10 squads run it at the same time, it is emulating 10 consecutive time periods on the roster.

    As for rewards, maybe a set reward for each turn on the roster. Something like X Credits and a token or something that can be put towards a mod pack or other reward.

    I stand corrected.

    But I actually think it is an interesting idea, and would actually enjoy the challenge. Even if it does split into smaller balls. I have no issues with the rollers though. They can be a pain sometimes, but it would be boring if there was no challenges like these.

  13. To be true, a giant grineer roller whatever would be cool, but I simply cant understand why it has to be a petiton...

    The devs most likely will do it anyways, so I dont see the usage of this word.... Its not like we have to fight for every feature people from the forums suggest....

    I can't speak for the OP, but when I saw this thread it was a few posts above a petition to remove rollers so I figured it was a parody of sorts. I could be wrong though...
