  1. There is an anti-cheat system.  Warframe will detect an "engine" at launch and will lock the game with that reason; and if the "engine" is launched during game play it will be detected and the game will close with said reason.

  2. You have to use the "Step Sequencer" to create a song if you don't want to use the default.  One of the DE in the stream said you'll be able to create and share the song you created.  I'm guessing they'll have a special server/service for this to prevent certain things so they'll probably have their own file type for the songs.

I'm going to make this song the best I can.

    Spoiler

Edit: decided on a better song.

  3. I don't know what he's saying, maybe where to download the illegal program.  Now I say illegal because you're suppose to PAY for the program but he shows you how to "crack" the program with some generated user names and keys.  Is this video even allowed based on that?

BTW you can use macros on console.  There's a few ways.

  4. When I was reading the patch notes I was like

    After playing him for awhile

It's not that bad.  It could be worse where you loose a WHOLE stack at a time.  Right now it's just a tick off every 2(?) seconds (seems that way) but you gain that back and plus some after you kill him and use Virulence on the few guys around him.  I thought Ravenous was a little overpowered anyways, just gaining mad stacks left and right.  The change with Undying... IDK yet, I think it maybe a little tricky but really if you're dying that much you seriously need to rethink your build/play style.  Instead of just stomping through a mission like it's nothing getting bored it just might add a little tactical fun.

  5. With TAA on it looks really bad on those flying nano spore clouds on infested missions.   It's mostly on the edges of the cloud where it looks like glittery blurred boxes, haven't been able to get a decent close screenshot to show yet.

BTW I have a 970 so I have plenty of breathing room to increase quality and that's what I was looking for.  I think TAA got enabled when I was playing Warframe in VR.

  6. So this is Anti-Aliasing SMAA (Medium) vs TAA 8x (High).  Why is TAA which is a "high" setting look way worse than a "medium" setting?

    Spoiler

SMAA (Medium) - Everything is smooth

TAA 8x (High) - Everything is jagged and blurry

    Edit:

Posted before patch "The Glast Gambit: Hotfix 19.5.6".

These 2 "fixes" for TAA have no effect on this.

    • Fixed screen consuming darkness as a result of having TAA enabled.
    • Fixed changes to TAA Sharpen and Bloom Intensity not reverting when choosing not to save settings.
  7. Your old monitor was 1920 x 1080.   Your new one is probably 3840 x 2160.  1920 x 1080 vs 3840 x 2160..... that's one hell of performance difference.  You need to understand that 4k gaming isn't something you normally just pull out of a box, people dedicate a lot of time researching hardware and lots of money building a 4k gaming rig.

I have 2 970s and run 4k.  A single 970 is selective at which games it can run at 4k.  On a benchmark in Witcher 3 I saw that a 960 on medium settings at 3840x2160 got as low as 14fps and as high as 16fps, at 1920 x 1080 on medium settings it got 48-53.  Looking at other benchmarking of a 970 vs 960(or just a 960 over all) I would say that a 960 can not run Warframe or any "good" game for that matter at 4k (excluding games like Steam Marines, Starbound, Stardew Valley, Terraria and Craft The World).

Another thing, make sure you don't use a DVI cable, a single DVI supports a maximum 2560 × 1600 at 60 Hz.

  8. Limbo rank 0 health is 100 and at rank 30 it's 300, that's +200%,  Limbo rank 0 shield is 75 and at rank 30 it's 225, that's +200%.

It's not a bug.  It's always been there... just invisible.  You know when you start a new frame or put a forma in you're at level 0; well when you go run a mission and you rank up there's like a pop up in the middle of the screen that says something like "Reached Rank 10, gained +50 shields".  That's what that info is, the total sum. It just shows what you currently have so if you were at rank 15 all that info would be at half.  If you put a forma in your Limbo that info would all be 0.
