  1. As title states, they only mentioned an artist's name during the twitch.  but so far i haven't been able to google any of them, assuming any of them have artwork sites. deviantart, (now boring-er) tumblr, artstation etc

    i'm particularly wanting to look at more of the minimalist oberon artist's work

  3. I'm asking this since i 99% of the time play warframe on mute, and i didn't notice Nakak talking when i finally popped revenant out of the foundry.

    as for the inevitable 'but warframe audio\music is awesome!'  yeah, but it does get tiring after a while of playing mission X for the XXXXX time.  plus i got 345 hours of music on my computer to listen to instead  (which for me is 6064 songs that i actually listen to instead of 6522 songs)

    ^^ trying to "hack a terminal" but the hacking menu didnt pop up so my guy was stuck like this until I figured out to press ESC to cancel it. 

    I didn't even slide up to it or anything! Just ran\walked up to it, to interact with it!

    But the main problem is after cancelling it.

    I COULDNT COLLECT, SELF REVIVE OR INTERACT WITH ANYTHING!?! All I could do was fight, run out of ammo and die.

  5. first ever Asteroid mission map.

    a bug\error type thing I encounted.

    normally as a volt, when I use my speed shock, sometimes towards the end of it's duration right before it runs out I'll jump while running and crouch mid air so when I land it'll still be a speedy slide.

    while crouched mid air, the duration of speed shock ended and it went from mid air crouch to mid air prepare to land and roll on the floor position.

    another bug\error encountered

    mission is a 'destroy 3 mining machines' operation.

    while I'm busy exploring the level, taking in the new sights n what nots. (took me a while to figure out what were lockers though, you'd think the green\red lights were good enough by now, but noooo completely new lockers were neat!)

    all of a sudden our lady advisor thing says ' oh no looks like the assasination target is on the vessel' or whatever she\it says when a boss type thing is there.

    well I breezed through the whole mission killing the 3 machines, tried looking everywhere for the lil boss thing if there was one, I don't know if there's normally supposed to be another objective point on your map to tell you where the boss is, but I simply could not find the dude\tte thing.

  6. Was on an Alert Mission in Silvanius. it was Infested and it had a sabotage \ destroy mission. (blow up reactor core)

    After doing so you're left with a 5 min countdown to run to extraction point.

    on my way I'm going thru the normal 'locker room' area. and I'm surronded by a bunch of runners, exploders, one tall huge healer, and a legless. To get out of that group hug situation I ran towards the legless that was right next to a pallet of 4 barrels of something. and as I tried to run slide n jump over it.

    All of a sudden my character attaches to the groin height pallet of 4 barrels as if you were jumping onto the side of a tall box\container area. to which I ended up falling out of the map. Down. Down. Down.

    Luckily I ended up dying and was allowed to revive to complete the mission!

  7. You could bring a Loki, with you. Everytime I get trapped by lasers, I just cloak up and just walk through unharmed. I haven't had to deal with lasers as of late, so i don't know if this still works.

    I have also noticed with the last recent update we've had, seems like there's no more door lasers. I'm just gonna go ahead n assume they removed em. As I purposely trip off every camera I find to destroy turrets... and the door lasers no longer activate.

    Also tripping off cameras, most of the time you'll see the turret come out of it's socket, but not move around to shoot you, you have to re-set off the cameras to see if the turret comes down, then moves to shoot you. then you can kill it.

  8. Im not sure about that. Having everything makes the game feel linear . . . I would stop playing after I tried everything, there is no reason for me to play the same levels over and over again just to get what I want.

    reading your reply confused me a bit.

    From what I stated about what other games do, they DO NOT give you everything.

    they simply select 1-3+ random items, persons, vehicles etc to be used for free temporary until either a set date, or a set amount of time the moment you equip said item or whatever.

    or in the virtual training room type area, they let you TEST out the weapons and everything in some firing range setting or a little environment vs bots or whatever, to allow you to see if 'hey I like this gun, I'm gonna go play the game for 10+ hours so I can buy it!'

    and I dunno about you, but to me the game is already Linear.

    it's just currently a bunch of same ship areas all stuck together like puzzle pieces to create the interior of a vessel, and it's almost always Point A-B

    sometimes you'll have to take a small detour along the way in a completely different direction to go grab a key or some other objective but you always have to go just one way in the missions. (so for now I don't play this game too often except for when I first got it, now it's too much the same for me) but hopefully that'll change with future updates. (I'm hoping for planet side missions, even though it'll be linear-ish like mass effect one, non space vessel missions, say a space station, a research lab hidden in an asteriod field on an asteriod, etc etc)

    oh another idea about the weapons n purchasing system!

    a lot of free online fps shooters will allow you to use in game creds to buy almost anything in periods of 1-day 3day 7day 30day , full purchase (you own the thing now)

    this could be a way to use in game creds to test out all the other weapons n items allowed. if there isn't anything like I've mentioned in the above free temporary trials, a virtual training room area to equip anything and shoot test targets etc in said training room.

    if the 1day, 3day, 7day, 30day, full purchase is used, then make the money difference between the 1,3,5,7,30, Full usages be a bit more cost worthy as it gets down the road.

    say

    1.day use is 500 creds , 3day is 1000, 7day is 2000, 30day is 5000, Full is owning the item, so whatever the full price is currently. (like how the Snipetron costs 20,000)

    also if any of these ideas in this thread are used in the game, some games either allow you to actually level up the items you're using (but you still don't own it of course, so eventually it'd be removed from your inventory until you purchase it again)

    or, you just get to use the item for however long you purchased it, and that's that. (so in warframe this would mean purchasing a new warframe or item for 1 day, etc but not getting any exp points for it until you purchase it to OWN said item)

  9. And what happens if there's no low-cover parts? only walls?

    if you've played other games such as metal gear, F.E.A.R

    then in the case of walls you could just 'hug them' and like Montiblanc said just right click to side step from the cover aim n fire.

    release right click and you're back to hugging the wall again?

    some games do this, but in 2 different ways I can think of.

    1. when hugging a cover, the moment you right click to aim out of the cover (while standing it's leaning from side to side of a wall or some tall obstacle, and whilst crouching it's standing up, or crouching over to the nearest side you're crouching by to lean over and aim) it takes you out of the cover\hugging mode

    2. when right clicking to aim out of the cover, when you release right click \ stop aiming then you go back to the cover crouching\hugging position you were in before.

    but if such a thing were made, I'd think it'd be very hard for the enemies to come getcha. with current gameplay I find it very hard to be killed.

    if such a thing were implemented, the moment you toggle into the crouch\hug mode behind a suitable cover area the enemy could be smartly lighting up the cover area you're in whilst they move in closer and closer into more deadly\accurate range. (since the current AI is not so great sometimes)

    also if the cover area thing were applied, would there be the crazy blind fire mode? as in all games this has been implemented this is truly never a real 'blind fire mode' as you can see with the player's perspective where enemies are, so you'd actually know where to 'blind fire at'

    and if blind fire is enabled, the enemy better be able to shoot your arm off...

    and\or shoot the gun out of your hands thus making you run and pick it up \ stunning you from using it for a set amount of time. forcing you to either use your other gun and or melle em. or run away until you've recovered

  10. I call them "Tenno Challenges", and it appears to me that they count towards your Tenno level. I am about to hit level 4. You also get 500 affinity for completing, which counts towards your frame affinity.

    oh thanks! because at the current amount of content most things aren't specified, even mentioned to you until you find out on your own or read the forums (that hopefully someone else posted about, I never knew about flips n stuffs before I looked at the beginners guide someone posted a while back... still can't figure out backflips though hehe :)

  11. I can't wait until you make a video about the... shotgun pistol thing! (forgot the name atm) as with current beta stats it's defined as pistol, has pistol ammo (150) and it's clip size is just 2 shots.

    in the video you could talk about how the weapons are all a bit weird due to their 'class' ammo restraints'

    example all the other rifles always has a starter of 480 max ammo

    all the pistols will have 150.etc etc. you could talk about how that's a bit weird since with the Aklato it's double pistols you'd think there'd maybe be either double the ammo or at least more? (If I dual wielded two guns than one gun I'm pretty sure I've had a little bit more ammo than just the usual one gun amount)

    Also maybe a video about all the movements, the forums and most definitely the tutorial do not tell you everything about game play movement.

    I'm still trying to figure out how to do a backflip. Saw someone else do so before. kept asking the person, either s\he does not read or simply wouldn't reply.

  12. there should be an option to buy an x amount, instead of having to buy one item at a time over and over again.

    thankfull the ciphers come in 4's but the rest are just one single item.

    I dunno about you but if you've played long enough 100,000 is an easy sum to make in the first week of gaming... when you first learn how to sell all the mods!!!

    and so now I figured I'll try testing out these items, ciphers , shield, self heals, team heals etcs.

    a suggestion for some new purchasable items.

    Emp \ Taser Blast:

    Stuns Enemy(s) for 5-10 seconds?... (would be very great vs bosses or annoying enemies)

    but if it were used on a boss, since they're a boss, a freaking jefe, they'd probably have a few seconds less for the shock to wear off in comparison to normal enemies.

    Energy Charger \ Battery:

    Gain xx amount of energy.

    Money\Exp Booster

    x% , xx% , xxx% more Money \ Exp gained in a mission

    Single Use, increases by set % of all total money \ exp gained in a SUCCESSFUL mission.

    so this would be consumed as soon as a mission is started, no matter if it's a completed mission or not.

    exa.

    I tend to open ALL the lockers in the missions, kill everybody anywhere everywhere.

    at the end of the level, for a 'good job, mission complete' we're left with a meager $500 + whatever you looted from everything else so that totals a lil over $1000-2000 give or take.

    if you had equipped the Money x% , xx% , xxx% item before the mission started, you'd get ($500+ $1000-2000 loot money) * x% \ xx%, xxx%

    Same goes for EXP at the end of a round.

    It could be applied for every piece of Cred you find, every kill you make <- if this choice is made then I suppose you can have an UNSUCCESSFUL mission and still get the bonus, at the cost of not actually having beaten the mission whatever the case\cause,

    or just the sum total at the end of a mission assuming it's successful with a plus x%, xx%, xxx% bonus.

    the COSTof such an item assuming there is credit prices could be...

    1000 creds for a small x%, 2000-5000+ creds for medium xx% bonus, and 100,00+ creds for xxx%

    or an X amount of creds for each single percentage point! 1% = 250, 5% = 500, so on so forth. 10% = 1000

    (the above are just crap credit prices , simply suggestions, I'm sure y'all can figure out whatever appropiate credit prices there could be, assuming the above bonus price is implemented)

    and or you can make the xxx% and or xx% premium only as premium tends to be discussed as an easier FASTER way to get the good great guns n stuff n suches faster. as most successful f2p games are want to be.

    Personal Shield Drone

    like those darn annoying corpus , you too have an annoyingly bright light drone!

    it too will shield you! after activation it either blows up \ deactivates, stops working after a set period of time (5 mins? great vs bosses then!) or has really, really low health. Like 2 rifle shots and it's dead health. dunno how the infection would kill this. maybe make it head\chest level floating?

    on a different note, allow melle people to use the sword in any direction they AIM.

    sometimes for fun whilst melleing I'll hold right click to 'zoom in' to see more detail as I melle.

    BUT sometimes I actually try to melle down a floating lil corpus droid. sometimes they're just barely above my head and the SWORD WILL NOT HIT IT.

    and on another note.

    I think it would be nice for the warframe account to automatically be notified when someone else has posted in a forum you have started \ contributed in.

    sure this may end up as a result of facebook status and message spams

    but at least I can follow the various forums I've posted without having to use the search feature or try to remember what I have posted about!

    I know there's a 'follow this topic' option but to me I'd rather just log in on my warframe account on this website and get a few lil update marks (much like facebook I know)

    than getting email saying ' such n such has posted in a warframe forum you have posted, click to see what it is!'

    (I get too many emails already!)

I come to a door, oh can't by pass it, go through a very long elevator ride, decided to press ESC to drop down dissappear and respawn at the bottom of it, I do so (thankfully without having to use a revive) and the objective is missing from the mini map, so now the only objective waypoint is to show me how to get back all the way to the door that needed a KEY

    so I had to abort the mission.

    Not sure if the key would've disappeared if I didn't have pressed ESC in an elevator ride though. But figured I'd let y'all know.

  14. what has happened to others is, do not press ESC whilst going in an elevator, it somehow freezes your body wherever you pressed ESC so it either makes you drop all the way down where the elevator went, or all the way down into oblivion n space.

    this happened to me in Saturn Mimas mission

    was going UP an elevator, and an enemy 'teleported me' which promptly flew me outside the ship and 1000+ m away from the objective until I died.

  15. I don't know what this is called but.

    most games allow for objectives to be displayed in one way or another. this I only get a small few seconds glance at the very beginning before it goes away.

    Usually I know what it is, sometimes I don't.

    so in other games when pressing ESC or TAB or some other thing to display either the main menu or special in game menu (like how other games have M for making mini map huge for you to look at \tinker with)

    also display this thing too.

    on a different note, does anyone know if completeing these lil objective things counts for anything?

    I always do what it tells me to, find an artifact, kill 10 whilst sliding. etc etc

  16. Maybe because with the infested there's a lot more enemies rushing you at one time.

    also the 'fauna' may have something to do with that too, since it's always swaying n what not

    also DO NOT run anything else other than warframe, I had a laggy as hell game earlier today (solo) and then after closing my web browser (mozilla firefox that currently probably has 100+ tabs open) it made it soooooo awesome normal fast.

    other than that I suppose lower some settings everytime you play infested missions.

  17. I'm thinking warframe specific abilities or options that allow a person to leach energy outa victims.

    like hold V on a weakened enemy for Volt to lift them up by the throat n suck the electricity outta them.

    Dunno how this would apply to the rest, maybe in the same manner but who knows!

    electricity could be gained depending on what type of enemy you're using!

    Corpus is top what with them being all robo based so depending on what type of robot you grab = so n so energy, and which type of robot you grab = different grab animations. a small lil flying drone? just squish it like a bug in your hands.

    Sexy Leggy Robot thing? ... I dunno grab it's face in between the hands?

    an actual Corpus person? I dunno about the neck\throat hold since they have big robot helmet heads.

    Grineer is second (since we blood n flesh looking humans have electrical circuits in our bodies n what nots :)

    Infested... dunno if there'd be anything of the sort in them.

  18. Adding onto this, here are a few of my wishes as well:

    1. More control options; such as toggle aim, the ability to change view perspective from left to right shoulder on the fly, and gamepad functionality.

    2. Better options for stealth; including wall-hugging and the ability to peak around corners, stealth kills, alarms that can be disabled through hacking or hiding (think Metal Gear Solid alarm states), bonus xp for no kill or no alert missions.

    3. Improvements to the map; including a full map view, indicators for active or spotted enemies, indications for when an objective is on a floor above or below your current position.

    4. Weapon mods that change weapon functionality rather than just stats; such as adding silencers, scopes, stabilizing grips, etc.

    5. Warframe mods that augment skills; increasing range or damage, decreasing cost, etc. Also, it would be interesting for rare mods to be able to give a Warframe a skill from another Warframe.

    6. Loot drops that include gear.

    7. Unique bosses, more mob types.

    8. New weapon types; including grenades that can be modded to deal specific elemental damage, and a glave or throwable weapon to replace standard melee weapons where throwing takes place of charged heavy attacks.

    9. New environments; though each ship is randomly generated from a series of tiles and the Infected/Corpus ships feature their own subtle differences from the Grineer ones they ultimately feel/look very similar.

    10. Multiple objective paths. Right now the levels feel very linear, which is fine in solo play but not so much in Co-op since it causes a lot of clustering and leads to everyone attacking the same enemies trying to get kills rather than working together to accomplish goals. Having seperate paths where groups could split up would balance this out pretty well.

    11. Side objectives that are not required to finish missions; such as locating control rooms in Corpus ships to hack cameras and turrets, or locating terminals to reveal sections of the ship map or unlock door to store rooms for special mods/equipment.

    12. More variety in hacking puzzles; with the exception of when you are being attacked the current hacking puzzles are far too easy once you get the hang of them.

    I am sure there are a ton more, but that's all I can think of at the moment...

    for your #1 this is already available, just look at your hotkeys, It's listed as reverse cameras

    your #2 is an awesome idea, I don't like it when most games like this have your character NOT be able to hug walls n boxes like the enemies do. Side views n leaning.

    #3 this, this idea would be awesome, under the assumption the Tenno is being sent into a ship with this information, if the "story" ever says about that.

    #4 An extremely good use as such things are implemented in like every other free fps shooter out there nowadays. that'd be nice too.

    this would really help on those annoying sabotage missions that end up becoming useless slaughter the crew missions.

    #5 iffy on this one, if a warframe was built with a specific purpose in mind, it'd be hard to integrate ideas skills n things from other warframes into said warframe. unless they'd come up with a work around for that. what comes to mind when I read this from you would be most RPG games.

    when you turn lvl 8-16 you get to choose your second class type kinda thing... no way would that work in Warframe though I believe.

    #6 If this were to be done, probably extremely small chances, either that or perhaps different variations n states of equipment?

    like in RPG games, with color coded equipment raritys n conditions, so could this be for warframe too maybe?

    killed Boss character. get the typical whatever the boss drops mod item thing AND a chance of some random equipment say it's a LATO.

    this LATO could either be a normal lato you purchase from the store, or a lato with a degree of variation from normal latos, either positively or negatively. exa. you got the (Boss Name's) Personal Lato! this lato has a lesser rate of fire and clip size but has slightly more damage n\or accuracy! something like that.

    #7 yup, they've asked questions about that before in other forum thingys too, and for now they mentioned if you could go for mobs, bosses or levels...

    I would choose mobs.

    and I like the idea of more than just ship levels. (it's getting a bit repetitive now :*(

    #8 for the throwing weapon I would hope you could pick it outta the body you just threw it at :D also said throwing weapon could stil be used as melee, like Kunai are in all those ninja type things. slit throats, throw them at throats, pluck them out of said throats etc etc

    for grenades, I hope there'd be different ways of throwing

    exa. L click is throwing (in an arc usually) and R click is rolling. Dunno what the purpose \ use rolling would be in this game though.

    #9 they all look the same to me, infected is just darker, with 'fauna' growing. (story needed to explain! storys make the game too!)

    #10 this would be awesome, like resi evil or somethings. but in this game it could be say... a group of 2-4 boards a ship at various locations of the ship. they all fight from wherever they are to the center \ objective area of said ship. BUT individual members of the group may have to do some objective like Hack or destroy something in order for other team mates to progress.

    in a group of say 3+, then it could be split into 2+ groups, or everybody is isolated until the main objective areas (such as boss battles?)

    #11 others n I have mentioned about possible hacks of turrets n cameras. the suggestion was either a Room by Room basis.

    or a lil control room that you mentioned that controls a few\several series of connected rooms\areas. HOW to HACK said things would vary of course.

    in other games hacking turrets n or cameras usually ends up like... disabling them, viewing through them to see the enemies occupying rooms ahead.

    using the turrets to kill others.

    #12. PUZZLES!!! yes! thank you I forgot all about Mind testers in shooters! shooters tend to be all about the shooting! games with multiple aspects of it are THE BEST imo.

    There could be different methods of puzzles, larger scale puzzles. etc etc

    Also puzzle related, please let there be a way to stop hacking so that you can fend off whoever is trying to kill ya ok? once when I was hacking I heard a grineer hack n slash make his way to me, made me more frantic, and he killed me off before I finished hacking :*( good thing that was a one time thing. but still!

    another puzzle thingy. perhaps large scale room puzzle types.

    such as operating a crane to move a crate in a room to other areas of said room to allow for manuevering \ crossing said room.

    Now for my own opinions besides my questioning n nit picking of 8bitzombies.

    Civilians. we could have civilians of some sort on ships\planetside. I'm not sure how they would be implemented, but as far as I know not all the grineer n corpus are armed n would like to shed blood would they?

    under the assumption the 'tenno' are the 'good guy' (with the lack of story and all everybodies a good\bad guy here!) the civilians could either be used in missions for rescue, say being abused etc. Can be saved from an infected ship in a hold out \ last defense room. (said room would have to actually look different as the civiliains were trying to keep alive so they baraicaded around the doors with all the furniture n what not etc etc)

    Actual story? I dunno if y'all are planning on doing such a thing but from what I've read in the forums there's a general consensus feeling to me that there is NO story atm. Who\what\why is Lotus using me? sureeee you 'saved my life from a cyrostasis' so therefore I'm indebted to you to kill all these other humans? Why do all these other peoples hate me so much? sureee I used a weapon of war to great effect but that's not usually a good enough answer to just hate on people. I mean the paragraph 'story \ introduction' does mention the 'tenno' are the only ones that can wield these weapons.

    (this game gives me a Japanese honor honour warrior feeling... but ya know, with the lack of story I can pretend whatever for now)

    the Grinneer, even though they're not so fancy like the Corpus perhaps give them more cruder methods of defense, such as stationarys, future sand bag equivalent bunker things etc.

    Weapons suggested for the Tenno, should also belong to the other races. If we get grenades who says that the other 2 current races don't use em too? (I know I've mentioned this before but I cannot find my forum postings, this should be a thing in our personal profiles, to have a personal list of every forum\message we've made on our own record\account so we can check on them time to time, like yahoo answers does)

    Animals. I see the Corpus and their 2 legged robo friends, perhaps Grineer could unleash wild planet tiger hyenas on us in a room or something?

    also if there are to be planet side areas implemented, wildlife for those areas then. neutral, hostile you name em!

    /\ about the animals on a planetside, assuming it's hapitable, go wild! birds plants fish etc etc. of course they'd have to adhere to whatever planet it is assuming it can sustain life.

    More ways of tutorial.

    The tutorial did not teach me how to slide, how to glide, how to do back flips (Which I still DO NOT know how!!!)

    so better have the tutorial do so, maybe give it an advanced section or somethings.

    instead of having to learn thru the forums, or the tiny lil message given when loading\rendering a map mission!

    cuz sometimes while I'm hacking, some mob may spawn nearby n try to kill me whilst I'm stuck hacking as fast as I can before I'm killed.

    But to what degree could turrets n cameras be hacked? some games just hack to disable em, some to use them to view the rooms n areas ahead, some to use them to kill others.

    I like this idea if it were implemented, in every section of a ship that has turrets n cameras (a few rooms, several rooms connected give or take)

    there could be a special lil hack node that's for the turrets and or cameras.

    If there were to be such a thing. it would probably need something to guard said hacky node. perhaps 2-6 restless turrets? some guards of some sort? since it's the Corpus I'm sure they'd have a few human boys loitering around it anyways, that or some robos.

    Turrets n Cameras are counted as kills? really? I don't see the logic here.....

    don't let cameras and turrets count as kills. that's not very much to consider a kill.

    everything else the cronus has that tends to bleed that's ok.

    We don't like having to have killed everybody and still have several sections of a ship to run through with nothing to hit on but the occasional camera n christmas gifts.

    maybe if through the spawning system with Lotus saying 'here's a group of em coming!' in extermination missions could not count? since they're just spawning nearby n rushing you.

    my thoughts on that would be, you're going on to a ship and you plan on massacreing the current crew of 75-100+

    they call for help, so reinforcements come in the form of!

    that mentioned group could be reinforcements from a nearby vessel or something.

    Just honestly, to me for now. Extermination missions are pointless.

    as I kill more on any other type of mission than Extermination missions. (except defense, which is also like extermination in the amount of kills made)

  21. After getting to the midpoint of my instance's ship map. it tells me 'oh no we cannot hack this door, go find a key'

    it displays a waypoint on my hud\mini map so I follow it, all the way back to spawn. when I get there the waypoint disappears and I'm searching everywhere from spawn back to the locked doors for the key.

    so to no avail I could not find it anymore so I just had to abort the mission.

  22. Ok honestly just killing 70-80 people in one mission is not enough for me.

    I dunno about the rest of y'all.

    But normally on any other type of mission, the lady always tells you 'oh boy a squad of * is coming your way'

    usually ends up to me on average killings of 100-200+

    300+ if it's infestation maps for me.

    my kills here may be too much for others as I explore every nook n cranny of a map. which explains why I end up with so many kills

    so I suggest to make the extermination about 100+ kills at least.

  23. Played in Mars Gradivus

    Was hiding behind a big red crate thing.

    It rail guns me. THROUGH THE CRATE.

    so mission ended a bit earlier than usual :D

    I dunno if it can normally do that being a rail gun and all but... yeah it killed me thru a crate.
