  1. feel even more sorry for free players liek me ~_~

    me too.

BUT. I remember in another forum discussion some people talked about how all the PRO choices (for warframes, weapons etc) could possibly be purchased with the in game currency.

My take on that matter is, if there is a way to get PRO for anything without using real money, maybe make it an insane amoune of ingame to buy pro, instead of using real cash.

Exa. a Bronco Costs 35000 to purchase. to make it Pro how about x2 or x3 xX that price?

thataway those who really enjoy the game will just continue to play , sell mods etc until they get to 35000x X price.

and since I learned about selling mods recently, getting to this method of PRO for anything shouldn't take too long. (maybe a week or so)

as for PRO choices for warframes. I dunno how that would be calculated. I guess it would be the blueprints you can purchase in the market times X amount of times.

GIST of ma view. people use real cash to get to rewards n benefits FASTER.

whereas free players spend more TIME playing the game to get said benefits\rewards. <- Also this option allows players playing the game MORE to perhaps give more FEEDBACK on the forums, bug reports etc. (assuming said free players do forums n feedback, such as I !)

a good example of this above method is Black Light Retribution.

say you're starting out in the game, do you want to play DAYS & DAYS worth of gaming just to purchase a new gun?

or spend some REAL $ and get said gun in just a few moments?

also in that game almost everything you can purchase with REAL $ can either be earned thru a helluva lotta gaming or special rewards \ achievements.

The only thing freebes cannot purchase are visual things. Colors, Skins etc. and these are the microtransactions an above dude earlier mentioned that would possibly help the game.

since this game already has a color pack to purchase. maybe some little trinkets that will show up on the warframe. lil 'warframe tags, keychain type things, dog tags, hats, clothing etc. (TF2 does this well too)

I just really hope someone in the Dev Team or whatevers reads all our opinions. and if you are reading this right now, thanks for getting to the very bottom mr\ms\mrs dev person!

  2. You should all play against the Jackal. He can be found in Venus Fossa Mission. After you play that level your entire perspective of the game will change. You probably wont sleep after seeing it. That level offers a new boss (never before seen) in a seperate room with their own special powers you havent seen before. Try him.

a suggestion on this guy, I'm currently a pistol sniper user. so I was very glad that there was constant ammo drops, but here's the problem. they were ALWAYS Pistol Shotgun n Rifle ammo drops!

I know that the Sniper vs the boss' in Fossa would be too OP but how about a very tiny amount of sniper ammo drops? I spent the better part of a half hour just pistol-ing the hell outta that Jackal.

  3. I had this same problem a moment ago in Venus Unda Spy Mission.

I had the first 3 data nodes, then I dropped them to switch to main rifle to kill a buncha infested. left the 3 nodes where I left them before. and went to the 4th node. I picked up the 4th node and it says I can go to the extraction point without going back for the other 3 nodes. so I complied, went to extraction, it says I need the other 3 nodes. I go looking all over the map where I left the 3 nodes earlier. COULD NOT FIND. (on map, on anything anywhere) So I had to abort mission :*(

  4. Yep, not being able to grad 90% of the ledges when they are all of the same height is really frustrating.

I agree on the XP calculation too, this would be more logical.

Additionnaly, a little question : when you get kills with slash dash, where goes the XP ? In your sword, in your currently equipped gun, only in the frame ? And to the slash dash dmg scales with your melee weapon, or is it a fixed amount that only scales with the skill upgrades ?

Slash Dash. I would figure it's the sword\suit since you're excalibar.

I accidentally chose Volt so I wouldn't know much about that.

  5. In most levels you'll have sections of a ship where there is a small area near you that is only one tiny stairstep higher that tends to have railings.

Rarely have I been able to jump up and grab such railings. When it seems like it should be a Constant given.

Since in the same situation a random crate in the game of the same height (a small set of stairs and railings height) can have a person jump n ledge grab.

For Weapon exp, my understanding of the exp gainage is that whatever weapon does the killing blow receives the exp.

I feel it would be better if there was some method of distrbuting the exp to the weapons used to killing an opponent.

like exa. a regular grinner rifle guy has 100hp and gives out 55exp

I use sword to take 50dmg

    pistol to do 30dmg

and rifle to do the finishing 20dmg.

so by their respective damages done to the grinner, would be distrubited by % to the weapons used.

so 55x50% sword 27.5 exp (dunno how y'all would figure out with decimals,)

    55x30% pistol 16.5exp

    55X20% rifle 11exp

  6. Normally when a Corpus security camera spots ya, a laser gate will pop up in some doorway you need to advance through.

one time as I was crossing a doorway by sliding (running than crouching slide)

    the lasers popped up!

But instead of knocking me back like it normally would.

It instant killed me in between the lasers...

I tried to recreate the event, but I couldn't.

  7. What would you guys prefer - if you had to pick *one* would you want - more Warframes, more Core Enemies, or more Unique Bosses?

as I have started the past few days, I cannot say much about bosses or warframes. (speaking of warframes, I'm not sure if y'all read all the forum posts but I mentioned how it would be nice to be able to try other warframes\weapons in some manner without having to pay for them. Yet.)

so I would go for more Core Enemies

I will say it would be nice to have more than just 3 types of grineer to kill all the time.

    heavy shotgun yellow

    normal gray\grey rifle

    extremely weak melee bazerker type.

perhaps variants of these guys? different colors = say a variant of a melee handsaw guy could be a lighter tint color, maybe still have the same amount of health or lower, but his saw does not make noise. (sneaky sneaky!)

agressive\bright colors = more damage, noiser (¿Cocky?), healthier ,better weapons, etc.

lighter\darker colors = more stealthy, sneaky, quiet, different abilities or better weapons than the usual or a bit harder to try to attack, like say a sniper down a corrider when you're faced with that sniper (probably a variant of the normal gray\grey rifle grineer guy) + some other mid\close range grineers too.

Shotgun guy, I guess y'all could use different tints of yellow, (other colors of course too) that would idencate the agressiveness, etc like above.

variants of this guy could use other than just shotguns, perhaps grenade launchers? shotguns with bayonets\knives\grenade launcher attachments?

Gray\grey Rifle guy, being a gunman, I suppose you can have variants or squads of these guys working together with all types of rifles, pistols, sniper rifles. Oh! maybe every now and then in a section of a level near your objective one of these guys could be manning a stationary! (no not pen or pencil mind you)

Bazerker melle man, this is the weakest guy of the bunch, I find it very sad when it usualy takes just one bullet to knock these scrawny psychos down. probably give em more health? Make em faster?

    Variants of this guy.

well they all can't like\use spinny hand saws. just like the Tenma all enemies can have different types of weapons too!

so I'm not sure if these guys could use swords well, but maybe have some with dual hand saws, quiet hand saws, machettes, knives, shields.

oh n sneaky variants too, since these guys are the weakest yet fastest of the bunch, perhaps there could be some skulking kinds. like a few would drop down from the ceiling when you cross certain areas of a mission. and try to sneak up on ya.

earlier I mentioned the gray\grey rifle grineer guy could possibly use pistol.

how about Bazerkers with a pistol n melee combo? that'd give em a better chance of not dying so fast. maybe one or two seconds more with a pistol. who knows. I think they're pitifully weak.

everytime I hear the lady say 'a squad of approaching you... it's Grineer'

change up the consistency of these squads, their makeup, what they're composed of etc. assuming you take\use any of the above suggestions.

like a 'squad' could consist of x amount of the 3 current types of guys. and x amount of normal bazerker, rifle, shotgun guys and x amount of variants of these 3 usuals.

I dunno how y'all make up squads n spawning in the game, but I can imagine opening a door to a corridor\hallway area and facing 2+- shotgun guys (with\out variants) 2-4+- melle men behind em ready to rush while they're being covered by 4+ gray\grey rifle men.

  8. I think all the costs need some adjusting but that's for another thread we should start!

But I agree, they need something like a Test phase of 2 or 3 matches with a Warframe so we can get a feel for the WF and decide to buy it or not!

And when we find the one we like, Hurrah! \o/

a similiarity to this idea I've seen in other games, which to me is very swell as it allows you to try something that you would've never either considered due to needing to purchase something before trying.

    two suggestions about your idea.

    1. other games will allow specified items, trinkets etc in their game to be usable by all players until a set date, or a certain period of time after a player has decided to equip\use said item\trinkets etc.

(example, AirMech allows players access to other Mechs n buildings\units for a period of time that would otherwise never have been touched upon due to in game money restraints.

Hawken does this as well, allowing any player to have a trial run of 2 random mechs until a certain set date posted in game. as like this and most any other game(s) you start out with just one mech, warframe, character etc to start off with and you may want to try\buy\use other characters, etcs.

    2. allow player to equip any n all available items in a training room\virtual room type setting, to get the feel and try any and all weapons armor etc.

against targets, (moving, stand still, living, non living, paper targets, accuracy, enemies etc)

(example, Tribes Ascend training\tutorial room allows you to select any class, and equip and try any weapons etc vs some generated bots)
