Increase Number Of Soundtracks In Game?

Warframe is a really unique game, however, I feel that the number of soundtracks inside the game is severely lacking. Its only my opinion, but soundtracks inside the game are really important, as they complement the mood inside.

But please god there's more eastern instruments you can use besides taiko drums and gongs, nobody ever does anything interesting with hichirikis..

IDK about more genres, but the current taiko beats got boring after the first 100~ times I heard 'em.

Warframe right now has only about 3 tracks playing before mission, during mission and they repeat it again and again. It's okay if they do not want to add a new genre, in fact, they can stick with it. But there are many players with good speakers or headphones that they use when playing games. In a RPG, it's easier to fit in more soundtracks as they have towns or their own so-called 'houses' to live in. But Warframe is a combat-based game. There are no towns, no 'houses'. We are sitting on a galaxy map. This is a good challenge for them to add in more soundtracks.

to fix that issue i just start up slacker radio and go with it...however some more music tracks would be nice...particularly if it was world based.

But it's different, in-game tracks are supposed to be made only for that game. And it just feels kinda weird for me if it played another game or singer's songs.

agreed, soundtracks are very limited, and new ones that combines in the ambient of every stage of the game, in the other hand i dont understand why have to be so asian the music.

What they should do is get rid of the Terminator theme they stole before James Cameron sues this game into the outer rim.

I like the Kato-style music, personally, and its generally subdued use.

It could be more trouble than it's worth, but a comprehensive in-game jukebox would be great. You could choose your own music for different situations, like X songs for action, Y for ambient, etc. intead of adding all your custom music into one big pile that plays regardless of what's going on in the game.

I thought the Ninja Terminator theme was pretty funny for a while, but yeah. It's silly how blatant that is.

Yes, something new for the galaxy map! I think overall the music is pretty good but the game definitely needs more. We already heard the drums in 2005 (still my favorite track in the game though).

Also DE, see if you can't get the community in on the soundtrack creation! A few fan submissions might lighten your workload, and will earn you a lot of kudos with the fans.

Woah. Didn't expect this forum of mine to be widely discussed. But it would be a great chance for fans to make their own soundtrack. This game is made for players after all, it wouldn't be strange to see people wanting to make it better. Spread the word! I'm going to be excited to see more soundtracks in the game.
