Elements (Fire,electricity,ice) On Weapons

there´s many complains about the elemental effects on weapons, and i tought about how could it look if they changed it (besides giving the option to remove the effect entirely) 

 

take as an example the fire element. you know how metal looks after leaving it on fire? the fire effect on weapons could look like that

ice could look the same as the fire effect but with a more white color

electricity could just be occasionally traveling trough the weapon (every 5 seconds maybe?), instead of the constant electricity effect it has now

 

any other ideas would be apreciated

I honestly don't mind the looks of the weapons with the Elements on it... looks good enough for me to use it and if it really did make a weapon look worse, it wouldn't make much of a difference to remove it.

well, i want to use elemental mods for the extra damage, but for me the elemental effects look horrible
