Launcher crashing on staying open

Using Windows 10. If my launcher stays open for too long (like downloading the Fortuna update), it disappears so I can't start the game, but stays running so I have to end it via Task Manager to restart it. 

Now, it can be temporarily fixed by changing the size scalings in my system settings to 100% instead of the 250% I keep it at (100% makes everything almost unusably tiny). Obviously, I can deal, but it shouldn't be happening in the first place.
