Initiating Trade

When in the Dojo me and the clan leader were trying to do a trade for some fish I needed parts from, and there was a huge delay between when the trade request is sent and received. I had to wait almost a minute just to receive the request, then almost another minute for the trade window to actually pop up. And it was some for the clan leader when I tried to send them one, this has not happened before, and I'm not sure if the updates affected this or not.
