[Idea] Warframe Operator Neural Programs

Here is the premise of the idea for a set of abilities and moves that can be applied universally over all frames.

What are they?

Warframe Operator Neural Programs are neural training programs of the Ancient Tenno Order, used to train the elites and allow them to use more advance moves than the ones that all Tennos are trained since birth.

What do they do?

The programs will teach a Tenno various things:

- New fighting styles for melee weapons, such as different combo attacks sets, change ways attacks are performed, giving new attacks, etc. They will be applied to class of melee weapons : dual, light, and heavy.

Example: Learning a Heavy charged attack program will allow you to instead swinging your weapon around, you will perform a vertical attack, smashing to the ground and create a shock wave similar to shockwave moa, and deal more damage on point of impact. Learning a Light counter attack program allow you to retaliate with your light weapon after you are knocked down by a roll + upper slash.

- Advanced movement skill, that are either upgraded version of current moveset, or totally new movement ability.

Example: Learning Advanced roll will allow you to roll twice in a row quickly to change your direction mid roll. Learning wall climb allow the tenno to climb on wall vertically by using melee weapon, stick it to the wall, and somasault up with the weapon (if there is no surface they can stand there, they will just fall down, can't be chained)

- Guns handling skills: adding more special ways the weapons can be used.

Example: Learning Shotgun knockback gives your shotgun a small knock back effect to push enemies back. Learning Rifle handling allow you to reduce recoil on rilfes. Learning Akimbo remove your ability to aim with dual pistol, but right click allow you to auto shoot at 2 enemies near you at once.Learning Gun slinger allow you to have instantenous change to pistol, and first shot in 1 second after switch will be a critical.

- Focus skills that will be frame and ability specific, which will upgrade that skill to a next level.

Example: Learning Bullet Attractor Focus allow it to become Gravity field, which when used on enemies will be the same as Bullet attractor, but can be used on friendlies to cause bullets to repel from them. Learning Healing Well Focus allow you to have a small area of effect with that ability, letting you put that effect on 2-3 closely packed enemies at once instead of one at a time.

- Additional skill that will help Tennos in their missions.

Example: Learning Hacking allow you to hack into securities system, turning alarm off, on corpus map, also disable cameras and turrets for a duration. Learning Sneak allow you to move without sound and upon approaching enemies from behind, can dispatch them quietly. Learning Assassination allow you to deal extra damage on heavies and bosses. Learning Crowd control allow you to deal extra damage on normal enemies.

Any other ideas would be welcomed.

How do they work?

When learned, the tenno will be returned to the old virtual training room, where they have to perform the skill they learn to pass the test in the program. Once done, they will be able to obtain it.

There will be a page similar to the Artifact page, listing all the programs you have learned. You can choose to activate them or deactivate them as you wish, in the case of you wanting to aim with dual pistol, or that you prefer the original swing of the heavy charge attack.

There will be a limit to how many you can activate at once, and this limit can be changed as you level up. 1 per level, perhaps?

How to obtain them?

As the Order is no longer in its golden days, its technology are scattered and dispersed through out the system. To obtain the programs again, the Tenno must recreate them through foundry. The blue print will be obtainable from bosses.

Blueprint general recipe will be

- Neural Sensor

- Control module

- Orokin Cell

- Ancient datamass (can only be obtainable from alerts, but at a good chance)

Or of course, purcharse them directly from market with Platinum.

Why should they be added to the game?

Think of them as advanced mod that allow players to specialize their play style even more than just mods and abilities, which are locked in a perframe basis. And of course, it is a new form of merchandise DE can sell to help them make money. (hopefully will be more desireable than the reactor/catalysts and so they would remove those)

I'm not sure... Maybe if you were to be able to attach them onto a warframe or a weapon it'd be fine, but if you're able to use it on anything forever then it'd be a little... OP in some ways. Especially for just:

Neural sensors, controle modules, cells and one other thing you can get from alerts.

Sure you can make the material count high but then that'd just make the people that whine about P2W closer to right than they are wrong.

Those are some neat ideas there, but it's just some balancing issues that gets in the way of it.

Modified the first post. Have it so that you have a limit to how many Neural Programs can be activated at once, based on your Rank. The higher, the more you can activate. Give them an incentive to level up too.
