phingo
I'm not sure if anyone has thought of this before, but I'm pretty sure someone somewhere has. So I've noticed there isn't a sentinel that does aoe damage, so here's my idea: Sentinel Name: Quake Weapon: Cant think of a name for it's weapon. - Damage: Somewhere between 8-12? - Fire rate: slow - It's a melee weapon so it uses melee mods - 360 Degree AOE based damage similar to a charged Orthos Mod: Seismic Pulse - Quake damages surrounding enemies - Each upgrade increases AOE range - Mod point cost is the same as other sentinels Mod: Aftershock - Quake has a chance to knockdown enemies every XX attack - Each upgrade increases chance to knockdown by 4/8/12/16/20/24 - Mod point cost is the same as other sentinels OR - Quake knocks down enemies when X number of enemies come in range (yarash2110's idea) - Each upgrade increases the range of detection - Mod point cost is the same as other sentinels The animation of Quake's attack would be a slight AOE blur around you. It would look like a blurry heat dispersing from your sentinel or you. Or it could be like the Jackal's knockdown where you see orange lines expanding outwards. That's my idea, let me know what you guys think. Let me know if you guys have anything to add/change. Thanks for looking. Hayden11121
A melee Sentinel I agree with, but the quake thing just sounds like a wyrm upgrade.
Lactamid
Melee weapons have low-damage-mods (120) so 4 damage would need to be dealt to quite a few enemies to be viable, especially with slow firerate
yarash2110
Unmm so a melee guy that has a slower fire rate, shorter range and its weaker? I wont use that, and maybe the other ability will be "knockes down enemies when there are x enemies around you, leveling up increases the range, but all around good idea

CybrinZ
Heres an idea. Sentinel : Slasher Weapon : Chain Sword Damage : 10 Fire Rate : Slow like Fragor. Can chain up to 5 hits, then it needs a cooldown. Range : 2 meters, 90 degree frontal cone ( sentinel needs to turn itself to hit enemies behind it) Skill 1 : Slash -Slash 5 times with the chain sword in succession. -can hit multiple enemies -Upgrading increases the enemies it can hit and the speed of the swing Skill 2 : Cleave -Charge up a slash that cleaves all enemies within the 90 degree cone in half - Must have a cooldown before the sentinel can begin attacking again -range of the swing is 4 meters The sentinel would be something close to a ball that has an extendable chain sword. It attacks by spinning and whatnot. The Cleave Skill will have it open up some vents on the side to help it accelerate the blade fast enough -
