Mecha Mod Set - Ally Damage

So, It turns out if you and/or an ally is within 30m of a marked target and you kill them with a gas proc after switching weapons,  the gas proc kills allies and/or you since, base don what I've seen, it doesn't register the "caster" as me, it also kills my pet.
