Equiping shockrod fishing spear in PoE cuases non-stop lag

[Zetaaaaaaaaaaaah]

I was mining in plains of eidolon, I accidentally equipped shockrod fishing spear and the game just does not stop dropping to 2-5 fps every few seconds. Standing still doesn't lag, but looking/moving around does. This lag will not go away until I leave plains. Bordless/full screen don't matter. Min and max settings don't matter.

 

Also, I'm pretty sure it causes my sentinel to break. Animal instinct won't highlight iradite and such or enimies and sentinel wouldn't pick up items.

 

Tulok causes the lag, too. Might be any fishing rod?

 

Lanzo also causes lag...

 

Only seems to lag if I move my camera too fast. And by fast, I mean barely faster than a snail. This ONLY happens when I have equipped a fishing rod. It doesn't go away if I unequip it, swap to mining, or another fishing rod. I have no issues with my camera or lag before equipping a fishing rod.
