__Kanade__
I keep thinking to myself that whenever I'm getting ready to use my charge attack in a very crowded group of enemies that I'm just gonna cut them all in half, but then I'm disappointed to see it only cuts one enemy in half. The charge attack looks like it would have an AoE with such a broad swipe, but only affects one enemy instead of everyone within its radius.. Tarudizer
This is true in the case of some weapons, but 2 handed weapons (Scindo, Fragor, Bo, Gram) and dual wield weapons does aoe damage.
FrankJaeger
Like Taurdizer said; While the visual of the weapon looks like it would hit a wide arc of enemies, the way the weapon is set up it is only meant to strike one enemy, unless otherwise designated. Weapons with some kind of multi-hit function will hit at least 2 enemies with a charged attack. So far that is the 'heavy' weapons like the Gram and the dual-weapons such as dual skana. And even with these weapons it isn't technically an AoE as far as I know - I believe its a set cap on how many enemies that weapon can hit, but I may be wrong.
