Primary to melee holster glitch

I’ve noticed literally every time I have my primary out and decide to melee without switching to kill a couple enemies for a group to spawn while I’m still pressing be but when I hold “Y” I’m left getting shot while my frame re-equips my primary then my melee again even though my melee was in hand already fix this re holstering
