Abilities locked even after leaving elevator

I'd love to submit pertinent video or game code information on why I can't use my abilities after I left the elevator but the only option available is to just *@##$ via text with no viable code or data collection option to use in the console I have the issue with.  Enjoy figuring out why I couldn't use abilities with just some schmuck saying hey I couldn't use abilities after I left the elevator.  Creating a whole new topic is REALLY my only way to report an error like this?  99% of the time I've had no issues but I want to say S#&$ sucks once and it needs to become a public forum?  Okay.

Just no way to allow for in game error reporting to the developer with any useful data on the issue with the console in question?  Why?  Why is it like this?

I loaded into a bargain bin lowest tier Fortuna mission with Mesa and upon leaving the elevator never got my abilities unrestricted despite switching in and out of archwing and K-dirive 5-6 times just for certainty.
