Locked away for decades, the torturer had been plotting a revenge scheme against the grineer. Once it had figured out how to use its powers, the torturer broke free to Venus where it met Nef Anyo. Nef kept the torturer around for years to come to help him "convince" investors and in return let the torturer stay in his company. Not too long after, Nef Anyo attempted to enslave the torturer for his financial well- being. Before this could happen the torturer was tipped off by an investor one afternoon.
