Warframe: Susano-o. Weapons: Nikana theme expansion

Here's a rough-ish concept I've been mulling over in my head.

Susano-o: Bearer of the Ookami Nikana

As a warframe, he's both blood and nikana themed, and his abilities run off of health directly rather than having an energy pool, and successful hits with offensive abilities or while his buff is active will cause a portion of the damage dealt to be returned to him as health. He also has his Exalted/Auxiliary Nikana, Ookami, mounted on his left forearm (With the hilt protruding forward from beneath the blade of his palm). He will use Ookami both as an Exalted Weapon for his 4 as well as when no other melee weapon is equipped, and has unique stances for both modes that cannot be changed.

Similar in proportions and size to Ash's Koga Skin, but with a more cracked appearance on many of the "hardened" sections of armor, with energy emission through the cracks as well as at various disc-shaped segments near joints and at the brace holding the scabbard for his Ookami. His primary helmet would have a long cloth facewrap and scarf covering the segment where his mouth would be were he human, with a single jagged horn on the right side of his brow, with several energy-emitting cracks on the left side of his face. An alternate helmet would evoke a more wolf-like long muzzle and long ponytail, with energy-emitting eyes.

Abilities:

1: Savage Razor: A flurry of up to 3 swift slashes with Ookami (Functionally similar to Atlas' combo attack ability), each costing an increasing amount of health with increasing lifesteal per hit (Hit 1: 15 health cost, 10% lifesteal. Hit 2: 25 health, 15% lifesteal. Hit 3: 50 health, 25% lifesteal). Damage is effected by power strength, health cost effected by efficiency. Also has a high chance to proc bleeding. Higher ranks of the ability also adds spectral multi-hits per slash during Feasting Edge that deal additional hits for less damage and lifesteal per hit but identical proc chance to Feasting Edge's bonus proc chances.

2: Sanguine Flood: A wide-area attack that does low damage and life-steal in exchange for numerous hits with a high chance to proc Slash status. Successful Slash procs from this ability cause effected enemies to grant health to Susano-o and allies who damage them with melee strikes. Proc chance is effected by Strength mods. Radius is effected by Range mods. Slash proc and life-siphon effect duration is effected by duration mods. 50 health cost at all ranks, uneffected by efficiency.

3: Blood Feast: Susano-o entices Ookami with the promise of vitae and essence, causing Ookami to begin siphoning away Susano-o's health over time in exchange for guaranteed slash procs for melee, an increase in status chance for ranged weapons, and a high amount of life-steal for all melee attacks, with bonuses to life-steal against targets effected by Slash procs or Sanguine Flood. Health reduction per second is effected by efficiency and duration mods, lifesteal amount is effected by power strength.

4: Broken Seals: Susano-o severs the bindings upon Ookami, allowing its true power to come forth. Unleashes a highly mobile dashing and jumping Nikana stance with Ookami fully unleashed, costing a significant amount of health per second but granting a unique move set, numerous spectral after-images for each slash, and an aura that spreads the bonuses of Blood Feast to nearby allies.

Passive: Melee kills will increase his Discipline gauge, which will increase his maximum health and allow lifesteal effects that heal over Susano-o's maximum health to store blood within Ookami's scabbard, allowing Ookami's abilities to be used at no direct health cost until depleted. If Broken Seals is activated while over 50% blood stored, Ookami gains additional Reach, Damage, and additional spectral after-images on each attack until the additional blood is consumed. Discipline will decay over time if melee is not used to keep Blood Drinker sated, eventually decaying to 0 Discipline. Decay is stopped when striking an enemy in melee. One can only accumulate up to 20% stored blood with quick-melee, ensuring proper use of Stances will be the only way to get the best effects out of Broken Seals and Ookami in general.

And now to expand on the "theme" of Nikana type weaponry.

We all know that with Melee 3.0 is going to be a "great Nikana". I'm suggesting additional similar weapon styles as well, with similar names.

First would be the "Nikashi", or "Short Nikana". Larger than daggers but still shorter than a full-length Nikana, these are typically wielded in pairs, quickly drawn from above one shoulder and from the side of one hip in either hand for quick cleaving motions and spinning attacks, offering higher mobility and speed while still maintaining the wicked precision and elegance that all Nikana-themed weapons offer.

Then, the Nikato. Small, dagger-like, and wielded in sets of six, the Sura Nikato are not only used in the hands, but also with special tethers, cables, and mounts upon the wrists and ankles to allow for slick use of all six blades in tandem for a tide of steel that few can anticipate and even fewer can survive. The most accomplished practitioners of the Sura Nikato were capable of entertaining their allies and instilling dread in their enemies with the ballet of blood and steel they could summon on the battlefield.

Finally, the Nikatoshi, a "short nikana" blade affixed to a long pole. What differentiates the Nikatoshi from standard polearms is that the Nikatoshi is meant to be used with only the single cutting blade at one end, with the pole capped with a simple counterweight at the other end. Wide, sweeping attacks utilize the blade almost exclusively and does not implement the counterweight offensively, instead using the added balance to allow one to easily transition from offense to defense as well as to propel oneself throughout battle.

Feel free to leave feedback and criticism. I've been feeling that a Nikana-based frame is long overdue, and if we're getting an Odachi we might as well get some space ninja faire in the form of Wakizashi, Tanto, and Naginata as well.
