Warframe running at low fps

Hello, i need your help. 
I always played the game at about 60fps without any problems. Yesterday i started the game inside Steams Big Picture Mode and tried to use a PS4 Controller. Since than i can't get over 40 fps, most of the time its around 25-30 and the lag is killing me. The problem could also be connected to the latest hotfix. When i log in, it takes a minute and says: "Network not responding", but i always have a ping around 30ms.

My setup ( I usually run everything at medium settings) :
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
Intel Core i7-3770
8GB RAM

What i already tried:
- I reinstalled the game outside of Steam
- I set everything to the lowest settings
- I tried starting it in Window Mode
- I optimized the download cache 

Sorry for any mistakes in my english, i am from germany 😅
And thank you for every suggestion, your help is highly appreciated.

Edit: I could fix the problem by resetting everything to default.
