What Does The Maglev Mod Do? (+5% Slide)

I got a Maglev mod, and am not sure what it does. It gives +5% slide, going up to a max of +30% slide.

 

I am not sure if it's like, the slide speed or how far you can slide.

Was not in the patch notes, so it may have been forgotten, not intended, or something like that.

It's probably your slide distance.

btw where'd you get that mod?

I obtained it in a T2 Survival Mission right before I extracted.

I do not mind.

I do feel like sliding is a bit smoother with this mod on, but that may just be me derping. 

 

I'll test it out a bit later on when I can actually process what in the world is going on.
