Sprint/roll randomly works/doesnt works

for a while now, when i press the shift key to sprint the game doesnt think im sprinting until i press it about 5 more times. theres other times when im not pressing the shift key where my character rolls randomly and there are times when i press and hold down the shift key, the game rolls me instead of sprinting. its very annoying and its gotten me stuck in certain maps where i find myself snagging alot whenever i roll. i really want this issue fixed as this used to never happen and i wish this doesnt happen again
