Melee Phase 1 Problem

So this is my first ever post hear and to start it off I use a PS4 controller through steam configuration for Warframe. My melee attack has always been O. Well since this update I cant go past a one swing with my Nikana no matter how many times I press O. Though when I tested the fact my keyboard was still plugged in and hit E it works, but when I unplug the keyboard it still doesnt work for my controller so is there any way to fix this or am I doing something wrong? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.
