Steam controller menu buttons

Having more issues with the steam controller again.  The menu buttons for selecting and going back arn't working in the title screen or navigation. I managed to get into a mission with the use of the keyboard but then found that it was still an issue for alarms etc. even though the same mapping for jump and melee seemed to be working fine

Now my Setup is broken, too.

A+B and Left+Right D-Pad seem to be switched.

Same, i only have an hour before i go to work and can't play because i didn't pack a mouse in my bag.  Menu buttons are all over the place i tried reconfiguring all the regular buttons with legacy keys but that didn't work either.

im running into the same issues as everyone here. I was able to legacy keybind esc with O (PS4 Controller) to go back, but I still cant select any nodes and i've tried legacy keybinding to X and even square and still no luck.

Im having a issue where I can't use melee with a controller, it swings once then wont do it again until I switch weapons.
