With many wepons some are classic being less and less unique as they lose their style compared to the newer weapons and same way as well where some newer weapons can use more distinction with their mechanics:

For example, the Prisma Grakata and Twin Grakatas can be stand alone in their part, while Burston Prime can be disposable comparted to the Battlecor and the Hema which is elemental and life steals.

Next is the DMR seires where the 3 Latrons have their standard stat differences while the Velt is slash based and has a slower fire rate and reload speed to not blow the Latrons out of the water.

Auto Rifles have their charms; but some like the Braton Prime and Dera Vandal can use some extra mechanics to make them stand out more. A Prisma Grakata is still competitive with it's speed and damage across the board in physical damage and the Soma prime may mot be 100% accurate; but the lmg hoses down this class.

2nd is the Secondaries, since a few are special weapons, fire mode based, and dart singlw projection base. The Ak- weapons each have their prefered damage type as the primary option; but they can be so much more than puncture/impact/element dominant since some are primed. The same can be seen with the secondary shotguns. Akbronco Prime is status chance heavy, Brakk and regular Detron are grind walls away from a mild experience of Dual stat bulding, and Pyrana Prime may not surpass Mara Detron in some circumstances; but the Pyranna Prime has that 1 mechanic of overdrive mode that stands out.

Lastly in acount is the melee classes. While we are waiting on the new melee system to fully sink in there are areas in the function that can be looked at. Weapons like the Whips, Tonfas, and a few special weapons like the Sheev DO benifit from Maiming Strike and Berserk; but the weapons can use a meter number to give their range, a range increase to their hits, and the combo improvent in the next melee system to make them stand out in going after crowds. Along side that is the sparing weapons which do not need Reach mods; but hitting a cluster of enemies is not an over rated idea. Ankros Prime will benefit with Boltor Prime and a damage buff such as Rhino's Roar; but it can use the improved damage output. If Sparing weapons can be reworked in part to keep up with heavy damage to single target and crowds, then we won't alway have to get Atlas. Further more dual swords and daggers can use that extra kick to it lile sparing weapons to. Swords, Sythes, and the like can use the like can use new options to perform finishers without locking some move sets in and making them interesting with extra mechanics. Lastly the heavy blades are good before acconting the similarities; but the War is behind like the Broken War and the extra mechanics or bonuses can be thrown in.

In conclusion, a new round or retuning can be applied in function and quality of all the weapons so far.
