Orb Vallis frame rate drop

Since the fractures were added to Orb Vallis, I've found I can't enter without dropping from 60fps to less than 20fps.  And it gets worse the closer I get to the fractures.  And just get worse the longer I'm in Orb Vallis.  Fortuna itself is fine, I get around 60fps.  The rest of the game runs like a dream, maybe I drop to 55 every now and then.  And pre-fracture update, Orb Vallis stayed at a cool 60fps.

I've messed with my graphics settings, but nothing has seemed to work.  I'm at a loss, because it makes actually doing the event harder than it seriously needs to be.  I'd like to actually be able to participate.
