Secundary weapon not working with canister

In any excavation/fracture mission when you put down the canister into the ground or the excavator it switches back to the primary weapon, and you have to press F again to switch back to the secundary weapon, is consistent and all the time and this started happening after Melee 2.99997 update.

This is when the secundary was on when i took the canister.
