issues with Ferrox becoming unusable in mission.

i had the Ferrox, no secondary weapon, and a melee weapon. using the alt fire i chucked the ferrox at an enemy, leaving me "Unarmed" (as noted in bottom right of screen) but with access to quick melee. the Ferrox soon despawned as it does and was shown on my back, but i was unable to swap to it, leaving me "Unarmed" but with quick melee. so for remainder of the mission i was able to look down sights, but not fire, alt fire, block with melee or channel melee weapon. 

not sure what other information would be helpful with this, but my loadout was: Atlas with new deluxe skin, Ferrox, Skiajiati with mithra tennogen skin. this occurred during a syndicate defense on Mars, and i was able to replicate this situation in the Simulacrum. 

edit: upon further testing its not til i attempt to look down sight after having chucked the ferrox that it leaves me "Unarmed"
