Plains not saving data

I went out to the plains in solo to mine 6 rares for Nightwave. In the transfer gates from the plains to Cetus, the system said it was unable to save mission data, and attempted to retry multiple times. The doors would not open to either cetus or the plains. Tried extracting but the system said the mission was already completed and would not extract. Had to reset. When loaded up all of the gems and stones I mined were present in inventory, but the completion in Nightwave was erased even though it said it was completed while mining in the plains.
