My main issue is that it has these long breaks in between individual waves and it takes forever to do...and that's to no fault of Warframe/DE. It's true in so many games that do this, it's just the status quo. What I think would be fun would be to have sets of 5/10, will use 5 in this example. 5 waves, one wave comes out, one minute later whether you killed that first wave or not, next wave starts and comes out. If you failed to kill that second wave, third wave starts, and it just keeps going until you kill everything, then at minute 6, full minute after when you should be done, it produces additional enemies. Times would obviously need to be balanced per level or whatever. The goal is to keep enemies infront of the player at all times while they are still defending a position. Basically an endless and static mobile defense, which means that unless corpus missions with nullifiers 2 limbos can easily cheese it without worrying about slowing down the mission a lot.
