I do have an Excalibur but I was playing Mesa with nothing named Excalibur equipped either. No experience gain or anything else weird, but definitely worth mentioning here! Edit: I should add more detail! This was after two rounds of a Neo Survival, nothing else weird happened. Edit 2: After further research (and rewording my Google Search), I guess this is just a very old visual bug. Nothing to worry about I suppose! Both times running as Oberon - once coming back from a PoE bounty and once from the Derelict tileset. It seems random but weird.
