Furis Autopistol needs a buff

The Furis Autopistol is a great idea (a backup automatic weapon) but the implementation, as it stands right now, is rather underpowered.

The issue is that with only 150 rounds of spare ammunition, you will almost certainly run out of ammo if you try to use it often, which means it's going to level up slowly, which means it's stuck in the rut of being a low-level gun with little use for a long, long time.

I think it needs to have its damage-per-shot increased (to approximately 18-24) and its fire rate reduced (to, say, 8.33 rds/second). This would keep its damage per second approximately the same but make it go through its ammunition supply more slowly, which means it wouldn't be as bad.

Alternatively, an indirect buff would be to double/triple the amount of handgun ammo you can carry (to 300 or 450), which would also make it more usable and indirectly buff all the sidearms which aren't the Lex (because the Lex has the lowest DPS but makes up for it with ammunition efficiency, accuracy, and how its damage is frontloaded so you can blow someone's face off instantly).

The amount of handgun ammo should just vary depending on your gun. With the bronco I never have less than 50 ammo when using it as my main weapon, whereas when using the furis all my ammo is gone in 30 secs...
