Game crashes GPU randomly.

This has been going on (on and off) for over a year now, and has gotten a LOT more frequently over the summer up to now as well, where randomly my game would cause my GPU to crash, where the entire screen turns grey and then black for a few seconds, while sound is still playing, and then goes back to "normal" where the game is just an nonresponsive white screen and all I can do is close it. The rest of my processes run smoothly. I also recently updated my GPU drivers (a week ago) and that bore no fruit. I'm at a loss as to what to do. Optimized the cache, lowered settings, nothing worked. Please help! I just got to 1000 logins and I dont want to no longer be able to continuously play the game for more than 30 mins without a crash. This is also the ONLY game that does this, all of my other, more intensive games, run fine.

For reference, my GPU is a Nvidia GTX 980 SC

Processor is Intel i7 4790.
