Extract timer keeps resetting in Kuva Survival Fissure

I was playing in a public group of 4 and I only wanted to open one relic. After opening one relic, I decided to individual extract while the others wanted to stay. So I waited in the extraction spot for almost a minute and... the timer resets. At first I thought it was because I entered Operator mode because it counts as a player leaving and reentering the spot, but the next minute I spent trying to extract by doing absolutely nothing, it still resets. In the end, I just stayed in the mission until the party extracts as a whole.

I'm not sure why it does this but I have a feeling it has something to do with the Life Support/Kuva Harvester spawning in. Maybe the extract point forgets that I was in the spot when those spawn?

I was a bit peeved by this because I selected No Relic on the round I was supposed to extract, but since the game didn't let me I had to stay another round and was forced to watch as the rest of the team selected a reward I cannot get.

Edit: Woops, I meant to post this is Bug Reports, but I didn't realize I posted in Feedback. I don't know how to fix this, sorry.
