Lich larvelings

So yesterday I tried to kill a larveling but it didn't spawn, even tho I received the alert. I performed a cache verification check and optimised my downloaded cache. Now a larveling spawned that I killed but got no lich as a reward. Also after this point no more larvelings will spawn. Screen just flickers and that's it.
