Codex

Madness is not your enemy. Channel your insanity and change the way you play with Swindle.

Lore

(Very basic but will be added to later)

Ah Swindle, quite the interesting warframe...whether he was good or not is still debated to this day. He was the product of a failed Orokin project that aimed to create a coldblooded and cunning soldier to do their bidding. They had taken their most devoted  and ruthless Dax and transformed him into a new warrior, however, they subjected him to horrid visions and forced him to kill even before his transformation was finished. It twisted his mind beyond repair. They succeeded in making a killer, but it was one they couldn't control. One day, he broke free and left a trail of death behind him. For years, the Orokin had to watch thier backs as Swindle would come and murdered who he pleased. However, Swindle still seemed to have concept of right and wrong and work against the Orokin. He was there when the emperors were slain. He was the one who took the final blows.

Stats

Health: 250

Sheilds: 300

Armor: 100

Energy: 200

Sprint speed: 1.05

Abilities

Passive: Madness

Swindle slowly loses his mind in the heat of battle. For each enemy crowd controled by Swindle, he gains madness. For each enemy killed near Swindle, madness is lost. Swindle's abilities change there effects based on the level of his madness.  Furthermore, you gain passive energy regen the lower on madness you are and you gain additonal damage the higher madness you are.

For this, the meter will effect the rest of his kit. The buffs from the meter is 0.2 energy regen at lowest madness which can become 50% extra damage at highest madness. The levels on the meter are marked as Guile, Crazied, and Twisted.

Ability 1: Influence

Swindle targets and enemy and enters their body taking control of them. During this time, he is considered invincible and that enemy is considered a Tenno ally. Enemies will immediately begin to follow you as if you are a commander of sorts. If you stop moving, enemies will resume attacking allies. This ability can be reactivated for different effects depending on madness.  When at low madness, you can reactivate the ability to cause several enemies to turn on their allies for a period of time. When at medium madness, you can reactivate this ability and all enemies within range will immediately drop healthy orbs and have a chance of droping energy orbs. When at high madness, you can reactivate this ability to taunt enemies to you. You go invincible and store the damage you take. After the taunt, you lash out in a cone in front of you dealing damage with your exalted tonfas

Swindle would root himself and extend a hand to the target it before dissolving into energy that will follow into and permeate the target. The target will have rose petals falling off of it so allies can know it is Swindle controlled. The low madness cast will have Swindle reforming a few meters behind the target after recasting. The mid madness cast will have a brust come from the enemy before he reappears a few meters behind it. The high madness cast will have Swimdle viciously tear out of his target bearing his tonfas swinging thing in a taunting manner. As for sounds, I imagine Swindle having a voice kinda like Valkyr and Saryn. It would sound like quiet laughed casting this ability and slowly become more twisted on higher madness cast.

Ability 2: Deceit

Swindle sends forth shadowy clones of himself to assail enemies. These clones have differing effects depending on madness level, but they always stagger. Swindle can also charge this ability to send more clones. On low madness, the clones will attach to enemies and will periodically stun them. On medium madness, the clones will mark 4 vitals on the enemies. Each vital is consumed when hit, dealing a precentage of the targets maximum hp as damage. On high madness, Swindle will dash to all targets marked and deal damage to each of them with his tonfas. He will activate a 1 vitial, if the enemies is still marked, when he hits them.

Animations

Swindle will take a pose with his hand snapped towards his face. He would then flick foward to send the clones out. When charging, he will do a little dance. The clones will grow in number at his sides. When he sends forth the clones, the look him him when his dashing, slightly leaning forward and gliding. Enemies effected by the low madness clones will have the slithering around their bodies and randomly stabbing tonfas into their back to stun them. Enemies effected by the mid madness clones will simply have their vitals marked the clones dont stay. Enemies effect by the hig madness clones will have them stand behind them in a position to strike. They dissapear after Swindle strikes the enemy. Swindle would have a "hmmm" sound with this ability along with a "ah ha!" when he launches it.

Ability 3: Shroud

Swindle emanates a shroud of darkness around him. This shroud follows him around. While in this ability, he is unable to be targeted by enemies outside the shroud. Enemies that enter the shroud are blinded an opened up to finishers. Allies can see through the shroud. Any finsher done within the shroud is done faster than normal.

Radius - 15 meters

Duration - 10 seconds

Finisher speed up - 1.5x(unmodable)

Animations

Swindle will raise his hand above his head and then brung them down to his side with snap and the shroud will form expanding from his position. The shroud will have a ring that denotes it radius and will makes everything slightly darkened. Swindle would make a "haaaaaa" sound when casting this ablity as if he is taking a deep breath.

Ability 4: Blooming

Swindle unleashes his hidden technique, Blooming. A storm of rose petals flood from has hands that have different effects based on his madness level. At low madness, the storm is channeled in a line infront of him. Enemies are drawn towards the storm. Ending this ability knocks all enemies in the storm prone. At medium madness, the storm is channeled in a cone infront of him. Enemies hit are sundered losing a percentage of their armor and sheilds. At high madness, the storm rages around Swindle. Swindle gains the use of his exalted tonfas, Vermillion. Any enemies that come within range will take damage over time and be occasionally staggered.  His madness level is locked while channeling this ability can cannot be grown or reduced past the level he is at.

Cone radius - 20 meters

Cone angle - 90°

Armor/Sheild reduction - 20% per tick

Radius - 8 meters

Animations

For low madness cast, Swindle would extend on arm fowards then yank it back as the petals swirl towards him and back out in a contained cyclone. When he disperses it, he will lean back and slam the ground. For mid madness cast, he will extend both hands as the petals swirl around them. For high madness cast, his blades will slip out of his arms andslice into the ground as the storm rages around him. For sounds, I feek he would make a  "ehhhh ya!" sound that just devolves into manic laugher at the higher madness casts.

Exalted Weapon: Vermillion

Swindle's exalted weapon is an exalted tonfas called Vermillion. It is used in all of his damaging abilities. As for looks, the tonfas are hidden in his arms most of the time. They can easily slide out and extented when needed. This tonfas are large than most and drag on the ground when he is running.  They look like obsidian covered in shadowy energies. Thin, sleek, and very deadly.

There is alot of stats so ill just put the most important ones imo

Attack speed - 1.50

Crit chance - 32%

Crit damage - 2.5x

Range - 3.5 meters

Status chance - 20%

Damage - 545(345 slash, 120 puncture, 80 impact)

Stance attacks

The stance is called Blood Rose

The neutral combo starts with two wide slashes that swing around Swindle. It then transitions into a cross slash downwards which plants the blade into the ground. He flips fowards pivoting from the blades knocking enemies prone. He then wildly slashs multiple times infront of him finishing it off within a storng lunge foward.

The foward combo begins with two upper slashes from the right tonfa then the left. Then he slings 3 times moving foward with each spin. After the thid spin, he then slashes the baldes away from each other and them lunges foward bringing them back together.

The block combo begins with 2 jabs from esch tonfa which transitions into slash down with both blade parallel to each other. This is followed by  short lunge while slashing up in the same position. He then leaps and spins in the air multiple times like a saw. This ends with a slash downwards.

The gap closer combo starts with him kunge forward hiting with the right blade and then stabbing with left right after. Then a cross slash downwards and then he runs foward with the blades digging into the ground. He can do this and move freely on the the ground until he hits a target.

The slam attacks are down with the baldes but he dives head first and the flips of the blades after the slams.

The slide attack is the same expect he has a follow through  of him jabbing upwards very quickly.

The aerial attack is like the saw attack in his block combo. He spins twice in the air.

The wall attack is a lunge that is followed by two jabs.

The finisher is 4 jabs and then a clean cross slash at the enemies neck.

Conclusion

Swindle has a versatile play style that makes him a jack of all trades with emphasis on crowd control, utility, or damage depending on madness. It gives a whole new system to manage and play with.
