Mission stuck on dialogue, then game frozen on extraction

I was doing a solo Clem mission, and I paused while Darvo was saying something. When I unpaused, Darvo's portrait continued to appear, without subtitles. Other sounds' volume was lowered as if the dialogue was still happening, but there was none. On extraction, the game froze and I had to kill it via task manager.
