(PSN)agent4hire42 Posted January 6, 2020 Share Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) I play on altered controls that being said when i pull my spear out it says "Hold R1 for actions" and since my R1 is bound to cast a ability all it does it use my ability, rather annoying that i can no longer fish while using the controls i want to use. That being said before the latest patch for empyrean I could equip my fishing spear and then pull up a fishing spear menu that would show my bait and other items which i then could put on and throw. I dont know what happened i hope that in the future this is looked at. My exact controls are using Left and Right on the d-pad to cycle abilities and R1 to cast. Note you can not put any of the bait or other items in the gear slots the game wont allow it.
