Voracious Posted February 19, 2013 Share Posted February 19, 2013 From what i remember, there was a thread on how the Heatsword had a slight nerf to attack speed so that it is now the same base starting attack speed as the cronus. But its rate nodes increase by a higher amount. Just some info for you, i havent found myself a heatsword personally, but use the DHS. Levelled up it is still quite fast as a dual weapon. I don't know, but ingame when I slide-melee the duals definitely do more damage, and when I just do a normal uncharged they seem about the same. I made sure the mods were the same too. Fretless Posted February 20, 2013 Share Posted February 20, 2013 (edited) I use 'em both. On infested missions with a melee-focused frame, the heat sword can be a thing of beauty. On grineer missions I prefer the DHS' high charge damage.
