Unrelenting
Why break the theme and add "magic" to the game with nekros? There is something in fringe sci-fi that could explain all of his abilities and still fit with the rest of the lore. Nanomachines, 1. Nanite Thrust: lore, "A blow so powerful, it turns the enemies [sic] very essence into a deadly projectile, damaging all in its path." Focuses the nanites to lunge forward. 2. Induce Fear lore, "Manipulates the minds of nearby enemies, causing them to run away in terror." Nanomachines infiltrating the minds of the enemies unleashing all kind of hormones! 3. Replicate: lore, "Replicate fallen enemies equipment around you" think replicating technology in stargate for desecrate 4. Animate the Dead lore, "Summons the bodies of vanquished enemies to fight alongside you for a short period of time." Nanomachines taking over the bodies of slain enemies
XandoCalrissian
What lore? Pessimism aside, super advanced sci-fi technology basically is magic.
theammostore
What lore? Pessimism aside, super advanced sci-fi technology basically is magic. Pretty much this. Magic is just something you don't understand, right? Well, Nekros is meant to be something that even the Tenno don't understand. So while they may know how to make the Warframe and how to give it all these abilities, they may not know how it actually works. For example, this would be like heating and smashing your carbon dust whatever, and then finding out you made diamonds. You probably don't know how you did it, but you know that it works. Tacgnomancer
Clarke's Three Laws When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong. The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic
General_Krull
That's a silly idea. Nanomachines don't exist. Magic does.
