Railjack Crew ships and Archguns

Howdy! Good lord looks like I haven't posted in in about half a decade.  Anyways onto the topic.

I know Railjack has a ton of issues but I have a question if this is a bug or intended. We recently returned and I have to say I think this is the most fun I've had playing Warframe which is saying something.  I really like the railjack stuff and have been sinking a ton of my time these last few weeks back into it.  With my lowest intrinsic being rank 8 and only one rank 10 so far I look to be spending a lot more time in there.   So, I've started min/maxing an arch-gun running arbys to get the rivens and trying different builds.  Though I originally was going to the the imp vandal I've found the Phaedra to be far more effective.  Currently using Gian Point to solo test on the basic Veil cutters and have gotten them down to about 70 rounds average to kill when I got curious how many rounds it would take to kill a crew ship.  The answer is about 3 mags to bring them to zero but they won't die.  They will sit around at zero for a while then begin rapidly healing and resume actions as normal.  Is it intended that crew ships be un-killable with arch-guns? 

Also, if you enter the 0 hp crew ship the crew is just walking around like nothing is happening.  I thought with the new procs they were supposed to either take damage or go nuts etc.  

From what I understand arch-gun's already got a pretty big nerf in railjack and were a problem with them being more powerful than the railjack guns.  But I could very easily pop in and destroy the reactor in about the same time so it isn't like the TTK is super high and it takes a decent riven to do this.  So is it a bug that the crew ships can't be destoryed now as it seems they used to be or did this get changed to just completely stop using arch-guns on them?  Honestly right now the ship driver can easily destroy all fighters but the dome cannon can't ohk Crew ships so that leaves the escort to handle them.  It can be annoying constantly redoing Amesha's buffs hopping in and out of the crew ships. Plus, many times I get insta killed in transition even though I read that they added invincibility timers to the transitions. 

Guess I'm just curious if a dedicated arch-wing squad running support to a railjack is possible or are we boxed into the driver handling fighters and away crews popping crew ship reactors and hopping we aren't gonna get a stray rocket teleport in with us or hit us before we load in fully as we exist.  

TL/DR 

Crew ships can't be killed by arch-gun's atm. Bug or intended?

Intended.

You can knock the HP low enough that the forward artillery can finish the Crewship, but unless you're on a mic communicating with the pilot, then it's easier to just smash the reactor.

 

I've heard that you can damage the Crewship, take it over, and enemy fighters can finish it off, but that sounds too slow to be practical in a mission.

Damn, That kinda sucks.  When I realized Arch-guns could actually damage crew ships I had this image of warping into a mission, boosting right into the middle of the unaware fighter squads pew pew boom boom while a dedicated arch-wing squad deployed on the crew ships like an tiny army of angry bees lol guess I'll have to settle for sling shotting into crew ships and having them blow up as I fly away with out looking back.
