Getting suddenly kicked from a squad while in mission with no warning/host migration

I am not the only one with this issue today. I was playing with two others in a squad and the game suddenly kicked one of them out of the squad. Still in the same mission, but they were suddenly alone. The other person and I were in the host migration screen out of nowhere till we loaded back into the mission. Later on, it happened to me. I was suddenly alone on a defense mission with no alert to the game kicking me to a solo mission.

Even when I got back to the squad group after the mission was over (I was in my orbiter), one player was suddenly no longer in my squad and the game didn't even notify me that the player had left. Is this a bug or just server issues?
