Railjack Missions/nodes Are Annoyingly Linear

I just get annoyed that I have to do EVERYTHING in the sector every time I wanna do anything in the mode. To that end, I think the way they do open-zones would be more ideal for the railjack missions. You go explore, complete objectives as you see fit instead of getting locked into things, feel like you have a ship and not a dropship with guns. Before scarlet spear (current on console atm) waiting for the anomaly to sow up and then having to do the whole damn mission just to go fight it?! It's not happy mission time when I don't want to do that... I wanna run the sentient ship. That's why I'm there. Thankfully, the combat loop isn't bad, so the higher structure of the mission can be survived. But I do hope that railjack will see some changes to this in its early days. Just let me sail around in the sector do each objective as an individual bounty. Ya'll get what I mean?
