Endgame/Just an idea

So I was thinking, (some of these ideas may have been said elsewhere by other people):

1. New endgame enemy units:

-1a) Melee Infested unit (some kind of blob) that absorbs EITHER projectiles or Warframe powers. They get stronger and bigger. As they get bigger it will start to attack anything (including other infested - it eats the infested to heal itself). For the Warframe to kill it you have to use the OPPOSITE damage: so if it absorbs projectiles, the Warframe has to use like Melee or Warframe powers. If the infested unit absorbs Warframe powers, the Warframe has to use Projectiles and/or Melee damage to damage it.

-1b) For either Corpus or Grineer, they can change their tactics like instead of grouping up they scatter and shoot from afar. For Grineer there can be units that place mines and deal blast damage and can stagger/knock down Warframes. This encourages parkour and elevation in level design? Or for Corpus there can be units with shields that absorb energy weapons Warframe powers like nullifier shields. So the Warframe has to jump over them. For Grineer there can be just regular shields that absorb energy and projectiles. When the shield units come in the long range units hide behind them and they make a circle so you have to land in the middle of the circle to disperse them. Or if a Warframe team starts to camp, units will throw gas or flame grenades or something that does AOE damage to force you to move.

-1c) Units or units with traps that stagger/knock you down/cause your vision to be blurry/teleports you somewhere else, etc. with their attacks

-1d) Units that can attack/pass through walls or that attack you while invisible.

-1e) Infested unit that absorbs/swallows you and you have to be freed by a friend/friendly AI or you can attack it from the inside with an attack power/weapon. Or a grineer unit that chains you in place like one of Khora's powers.

2. So an endgame would be where you navigate to the regular Star Chart. Press a button to show the NEW Endgame Start Chart (this is where Warframe teams go to the more dangerous areas: so there would be similar tile sets but more damaged to show the struggle (kind of like the Invasions or Syndicate tile sets I forget which 1). These would start at level 80 to 100 level enemies. In these maps the objectives are NOT displayed right away so some searching/scouting is required. Endgame modes:

- 2a) Hunt: The enemy (Corpus, Grineer,Infested) are trying to develop new enemy types to defeat the Warframes so we have to hunt them down. A random enemy type will spawn (see the enemy propositions above) and they are like mini bosses. These mini bosses can also have random resistances like Kuva Liches or absorb certain damage types to become stronger.

- 2b ) Scavenge/Expand: The humans are trying to find new relays or new places to inhabit or trying to Scavenge for resources so we have to defend them while a few friendly NPCs go from 1 point to another gathering resources or scouting the map.

- 2c) Defense missions with random, multiple targets to defend at once (this could encourage crowd control): you can have defense missions with 1 or maybe 8 targets? Mini bosses can spawn here too.

These endgame missions can require the use of Operators (like use Operator Void mode to supercharge consoles to destroy them/open doors, etc.)/

The rewards will be, with low, RANDOM drop chances (no 5-10-15,etc. because it's like you feel like you are forced to "wait" to get your rewards, it makes it more exciting, maybe each mini boss can have a guaranteed drop for something):

- New Simulacrum skins/decorations/console to access mods

- New Storyteller character/console for Orbiter to access lore (which could be just voice dialogue or text to get to know the Universe better).

- Riven stuff? Archwing/Warframe Rivens? Because these items can be constantly re-rolled infinitely.

- Operator/Archwing/UI cosmetics?

- If you complete a mission with a certain Warframe you get a small chance to unlock a Tenno trainer who can give you a tutorial on your Warframe in the Simulacrum (maybe this can be an Arbitration reward or something instead?)

- These missions can replace Nightmare (because Nightmare is like removing your health or energy, etc and it feels like "we worked so hard to get good gear and now in this Nightmare mission you just have a handicap because............. Nightmare???? So the Nightmare mods can be moved here.

A revamped mission queue system:

- So when pressing on a Mission node in Star Chart, instead of going directly into mission RIGHT AWAY, the player would queue (like a waiting phase) up so that when people join it could help in the planning phase (because when players join the Squad we get to see what Warframe and Weapons they have so this helps us change our loadout or discuss before hand what each player's role can be). Then whenever they actually want to start the mission, then they press another button (kind of like what we already have in game) to launch the mission with or without the squad.

These are just some ideas I had floating around in my head just for fun and because I joined the Warframe game this year and I even paid money because I thought this game was good and to grind just a bit less. 🙂
