Cons Of Dual Pistols

I don't see any cons in using two pistols instead of one, is there any? Looks like there are only pros like two magazines instead of one and doubled fire rate for semi autos.

I think you shouldn't be able to use right click aim when using dual pistols, then single pistol would be alternative to them.

the whole point to dual pistols is to be s stronger weapon that costs more resources and crafting to make that is purposely better then single pistols for use in higher level missons such as pluto missons where single pistols just wouldnt make sense or do a whole lot of damage. Thus theres no reason to take aim off dual pistols. If you think their too strong then they should do a weapons buff and upgrade all weapons to a more similar dps. And then upgrade enemies accordingly but right now, their perfectly fine. Its just for higher level players, cause there really is no cons.

But variety makes things more interesting. Direct upgrade mostly is bad idea imho.

Less accuracy in duals.

Are you sure? I don't feel any noticeable difference in accuracy on my double versions of furis and lato compared to single versions...

Right now the only Con i can think of is that Dual pistols cannot use gun specific mods.

AKLATO cannot use LATO mods, etc.

EDIT: Also I don't know if thats a bug or not, but its kind of anoying, and it makes no sence really.

well i see your problem with direct upgrade but the point is that it takes a lot of resources to make AKBOLTOS for example, so its something usually only mid to high level players would be using when they need it for higher level missons.

The only disadvantage I can see is with ammo, at least with the Aklatos. Aklatos fire so fast they are more likely to run out of ammo then the straight up Lato. I can't speak for the Akbolto or Akfuris.

yes but that also means you kill things faster :P, if it takes 5 shots to kill something with a bolto it will take 5 shots to kill it with the AKboltos, its just that the AKBOLTOS will fire faster.

Akfuris eats ammo with speed of light, but when right modded dps is insane, kills any enemy besides bosses in seconds, and able to do fast and heavy damage to bosses too... I like them very much.

I remember single pistol still being a pretty viable option in the specialists, even though there wasnt too much of a downside to using dual pistols. (Mostly just ammo count vs reload time and character weight.)
