Myxostomata bug

I was fishing for Myxostomata today and caught a bug they fish spawn and if you throw your spear and miss sometimes the fish's name disappears and even though you can still see it (I was using an Oxylus sentinel) you can no longer catch it, I had one that was against the shore dead on with my target and the spear did not catch it. This is really annoying when you are paying standing for the bait to catch a rare fish and you are unable to catch them on the few occasions they do spawn.
