It does not shoot your secondary weapon if you happen to have it on metamorphosis timing. Tested it on a few different locations with different secondaries. What I got is melee and primary work just fine, secondary is always missing, doesn't matter if it's a kitgun with/without arcanes, semi-auto/auto pistols or beam weapons.
