(PSN)xxSHEPERDxx
The game relies, way, waaaay too much on fish eye distortion to stretch a square screen out. The resolution angle needs to be naturally adjusted to what is now a modern wide angle (which wasn't when the game first launched). The camera needs to be naturally pulled back (something that should be a setting set by the player so they can adjust to their liking), including when on your ship. If you want an example of how competition is doing it, look at Marvel's Avengers - both when in aim mode and when not. Warframe's camera capture angle needs to be improved. (PSN)xxSHEPERDxx
Bumping this again. The aiming camera angle definitely needs to be pulled back and elevated to a higher altitude a bit. Larger warframes end up blocking way too much of the screen when trying to aim. A semi work around is to switch shoulder views, but as shoulder views are also not properly angled, the left shoulder view, that has you appear on the right side of the screen, has you way off to the right instead of center right. I'll make a mockup image of what it should look like compared to what it looks like currently in the next few days (work two full time jobs so not a lot of time to knock it out until the weekend).
